Well I and the Kitty Krew check out the property to see where we stopped and what’s left to do. Along the way we visit some of our plantings as well as talk about what’s to come in the gardens and the property. So come on along and lets Walk About with the Kitty Krew today.

  1. we have so many sticks to pick up; and people will be sawing down curved trees. From that October wet snow load. Happy Birthday Mr. Rogers, to me! haha, Mr. Tom! (that's meant as a compliment!)

  2. i wonder if a blue berry bush is like a Rose bush, when the stems go horizontal the berries pop, just like rose hips.

  3. Dude, you wrecked your Fieri. (ladder). I want to get another of those. Lightweight for carrying.. God that's a huge tree!

  4. Hope you had a great birthday Mr. Tom! Glad to know the blueberries are in good shape as they’re very healthy and yummy too! Thanks for the video!

  5. Happy belated birthday Mr Tom and hope you enjoyed your birthday tea. Sorry to hear about the tree having to come down. We had some beautiful ash trees in the garden but they got disease and sadly had to be removed.

  6. I hope you do a video on wild edibles . I know some but not a whole bunch. Back in the 80's my Mom took me out in the Yard and we gathered Greens. I have a book but seeing the real thing and a photo are different. Belated Happy Birthday.

  7. I hope your birthday dinner turned out well, and I am glad that you are still here to celebrate it! My goodness, that was about as close as you can get without major damage!!! Scary stuff. The ladder is replaceable, you are not. I am glad all are otherwise okay. Bless you and the Kitty Krew. ❤️👍🐾🙏🏻🏡

  8. Happy belated birthday Mr. Tom. Enjoyed your garden tour. Always love to see you and the kitty crew. Love to you from southern Virginia. Meow !!❤

  9. Happy birthday! I've been working around in my yard this week. Hopefully I can plant my few tomato plants next week. Expecting another cool spell this weekend & more rain next week here in northeast MS.

  10. 🎂 HAPPY BIRTHDAY Mr.Tom 🎂 nice to walk about and visit again , thanks for sharing , God bless !

  11. Thank you for posting this! Happy belated birthday! I'm watching this from rainy, cold UK and love your garden tours. I also love how you appreciate what a lot of people call "weeds." That is so refreshing, as there are no "weeds" only wild flowers/plants in the wrong place. Please keep posting regularly, even if only short videos, as you mean a lot to so many of us, as we've said before.

  12. Happy Belated Birthday, Mr. Tom!!!😁😁 I hope it was a great day!! Mine was on the 1st, and I am so thankful for the day I had!!
I do hope you are feeling better. Your yard is beautiful!! I love the wildflowers and grasses in the spring. I do not mow them away in a hurry. So many wild things come to visit!!! Yes, Mr. Tom, feed the birds!!!! 🤗🤗🤗
Prayers for You and the Kitty Krew🙏🙏 I am recovering from arm & neck surgery and will soon be able to enjoy my garden, yard, and nature friends again!

  13. Happy belated birthday Mr. Tom. Good to see you are doing well. Always look forward to your videos. Have a wonderful day!

  14. LOVE your kale!! I lost most of mine when we got that artic blast over Christmas. I just got my starts and seeds into the ground. Can't wait for it to grow. I eat it, and I feed it to my birds.

  15. Hi my friend ☺ 😊 happy birthday. God bless your soul..sorry I haven't seen your video's as of late but I'll catch up.thanks again for your video!

  16. Mr. Tom you and your subscribers may enjoy some new ideas coming up in the gardening arena. Or old "new" ones, Deep South Homestead did a Porchtime video a few days ago. And I subscribe to Permaculture people and the one fellow is bringing several ideas to think about "Biohacking Your Environment | LIVE with Matt Powers".

  17. In the Pacific NW, we use annual rye as a winter cover crop in the garden. You are lucky to have non-invasive bamboo (without underground runners); otherwise they are better in big pots.
When you take down that tree, it looks at though you'll have firewood for the next decade!!

  18. I planted blackeyed peas at 2am last night right before a good soaking rain. I used dry peas from the store, Camillia brand.
