  1. I've been trying to keep up with you but am out of containers to pot up the young plants. I'm looking for anything that will hold compost that I can put holes in. How big of a container does borage need? And I still want to get some red veined sorrel seeds started.

  2. Another Brill video as usual Ivan.
Also the little white pumpkins your speaking of sound like Baby Boo's x

  3. The planterful of overwintered beet seedlings I asked you about potting on, how deep should the next container be?
    Still learning, thanks to you.

  4. I'm definitely holding back a couple of weeks. I'm guessing I'm not that far from you, (just outside Walsall). Looks like we're guaranteed a couple of frosts early next week.

  5. Very sensible advice, thankyou. I'm in Cumbria, so although I have plenty of plants ready to go out, I too am potting on rather than planting out. Waiting for after mid May which is our last frost date.

  7. Great update Ivan, thanks for the tips on planting out. The container garden looks fabulous. All tips and advice always welcome. Thanks for sharing.

  8. Better safe than sorry ate, I'm growing more veg this year & everything is looking great, can't wait for warmer weather lol , thanks Ivan enjoyed watching as usual..

  9. It can rain all it wants in April, so long as we get some decent days in May for the upcoming allotment playtime aka bank holidays lol ๐Ÿ™‚

  10. The weather is the same here in South Yorkshire, so it's a wait of 2-3 weeks for me also before any tender plants go out from under cover

  11. Hi Ivan, good presentation as usual, but I must say sweet peas are very hardy and can stand temperatures down to -6. Obviously they need hardening off but you get a head start by sowing in January. Iโ€™ve had some sweet peas that self sowed and they have survived the winter down to -8 which has amazed me.

  12. Thanks Ivan, for this great update with all the brilliant tips and info'. I hope that you and Ginny have a great weekend. Take care and all the best. Stevie

  13. Great advice Ivan will take your advice and hold on ABIT long just want to get started.many thanks from Shropshire ๐Ÿฅฌ๐Ÿฅฆ๐Ÿฅ’๐Ÿฅ•

  14. Another great video- weโ€™ve had terrible weather where I am and like you, forecast is a bit grim for the next few weeks. Is it worth sowing my root veg into plug trays for planting out or should I wait and direct sow?
