  1. I'm going to grow some from seed this year any tips on protecting them from vine weevil they've killed every strawberry plant I've had.

  2. I have June berries and sea scape varieties, but now I don’t know if they survived the heat summer, most of my vegetables didn’t survived πŸ˜”πŸ‘©β€πŸŒΎ so ur ideas for towering them might save them from drying πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘©β€πŸŒΎ thank you.

  3. question !!! i live in new york, on a very wet property. i was thinking about planting a LOT of strawberries this year, but with chickens, other birds, and a weird amount of spiders in the yard, (not to mention deer), im worried theyll all be spoiled before harvesting. so ive been thinking about building a platform and green house, with raised beds and everything. would it be okay to grow them in a greenhouse? and if not are there any other ideas you could throw my way? these videos have been so helpful already!! thank you!!!

  4. I used this to grow the candy strawberries that I got at a limited time at my grocery. They were huge and sweet! I must keep them so I learned how to grow them!

  5. Good reminder on multiple types and ripening times. Crucial goal for most produce other than nuts, garlic, shallots…easy LT storage stuff.

  6. I'm new at growing strawberries the last time I tried the ants got them do thank you i will grow the ever bearing and the other one u mentioned ty so I ❀️ what if u don't have enough sun? I live on the coast

  7. Should I dig up last years plants, divide them, put more soil etc in the ground and then plant again? It's February in Maryland USA

  9. When the season is over as I live in the New York , how do you replant the strawberries for another growing season?

  10. Thank you for your excellent video. I am growing strawberries for the first time in a raised bed. I have purchased bare root plants – 6 each of Strawberry Sensation and Just Add Cream. I have potted them in and they are in currently in my greenhouse as I am concerned about frost. It's now mid March here in the UK. When do you advise transferring them to the raised bed? Thank you.

  11. Plant them stand back and watch them grow. They have been doing it themselves for thousands of years πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ

  12. Two questions:
    1. If I save the runners, can I use those to replace the strawberry plants after three years?
    2. If grown in pots, how do you ensure they survive the winter?

  13. Quite new to growing food at home, but your videos have made it so much less daunting! A quick question – when you say to plant elsewhere in the garden after the three seasons growth, why is that? And can anything in particular also not be grown in that patch where the strawberries were originally growing?
