Since I recently purchased these terracotta pots, I have been dreaming of creating spring containers with warm colors. I love spring planters but often gravitate to pinks, purples, and blues in container gardening. I am so excited to force myself out of the box on this one!

  1. Aww, you got rain! I am down in S Arlington, and there was no rain.
Containers look great! Still learning how to create beautiful containers.

  2. Good morning. All those pots are stunning. Now the pots with the orbs look complete now that the 2 pots have blooms in them. I do agree with you that they will bring busts of colors throughout the growing seasons. Enjoy them and have a wonderful rest of your day.

  3. Cosmos love crap soil/full sun and they are very drought tolerant. May want to put them in a container of their own – or- one with no drip or in a space where you won't fuss with them. And I'm not sure the Diva Dahlia will like "sharing" her container as she is a princess and needs her OWN pot. Zone 6b. Go Huskies + Pucks!

  4. Your containers all look wonderful. Glad you put the creeping jenny into the other pot. Bonny zone 5b

  5. Beautiful pots of flowers. I’ve never seen Kangaroo paw before. It’s an interesting plant💗🌿💗

  6. I love red too! Excited to see your Don Juan rose. I just planted Lady in Red (also large red climber). Your summer containers are really going to pop!

  7. Such a pretty color combo you came up with! I also loved seeing the bird bath under the willow tree in the background! 🙂 Have the birds found it yet?

  8. I love pinks, purples, lime green and white mostly. But I must say the warm colors you chose are stunning. 💗

  9. Amanda, the warms colors you chose are so perfect for your terracotta pots! You have such a great eye for color!

  10. Containers look awesome. I would be watching the water lines very closely. You can running only so much before the water won't be effective all over. I don't use these tunes but have heard other people saying they can only run so much before they start having water issues.

  11. Amanda, quick question. How long are you running your drip lines right now? I've got some new ones, and I'm trying to figure out the right length of time around the rain. Like it says maybe rain today, but probably not for us here in Princeton. I've just gotten several new plantings in the ground and watered them in, but I'm not sure about my drip lines. Are you just running them manually right now? Thanks for any advice you can give. Joan

  12. Love your design, the pots look amazing. I'm doing warm colors too. I did mini red roses, orange petunias, yellow marigolds and some tall green grass in the middle. Unfortunately, I used the wrong fertilizer with high nitrogen and all my flowers died 😢. Only the tall grass survived. So, I will be changing the soil and starting again. ❤
