  1. I hope the dreaded Japanese beetles don’t make it to your area. I have to remove rose bushes this year as they are magnets for those little nightmares. I’ll live vicariously through this lovely new space. 🌹🌹

  2. As a child our family swapped homes with a family in England for the summer. They had a gorgeous English rose garden, and so my love affair began. I’m pretty sure your kids will love your rose garden. So much to explore.

  3. What do you prefer to use for rose pests and roses diseases? I just got into roses and I've been battling all the rose pests snd diseases as best as I can 😭 but any advice would be great

  4. Think of the maze garden as a last hooray to that space, the children that will get to see beautiful roses for years. They’re going to be fine. I loved seeing a team in action.

  5. I think straight lines of rose bushes will look like a rose farm instead of a rose garden.

  6. As always! Your video didn’t disappoint!! Can I just say I love the music!! And I’m a relatively a new viewer and I love your working thank you for sharing! I’m wondering what you do with all the flowers you cut. Do you sell bouquets?

  7. So excited for this project. I have 18 roses so far. What a beautiful variety.

  8. Love the roses! It'll be so fun when they're all established and in bloom. Are you not going to grow edibles out there anymore though? Seems like between the dahlias, roses, and perennials there's not much space left for food production.

  9. Here's a suggestion…
David Austin's, Duke of Edinburgh rose. Named in honor of the Duke's 100th birthday. The Queen had one planted at Windsor castle on what would have been his birthday.

  10. I’m going to stop add any roses to my garden now until all of yours first. I know I will learn a lot from your experience.

  11. I am so so excited to see these roses in bloom. Love the color coordination, it would be grand to see all of them blooming together!

  12. Those last two roses might look great on that tunnel feature you put over the flagstone pathway

  13. Oh my goodness, Aaron must be walking on air! So wonderful to see Paul and Bethany working with you on this glorious garden! 🌹🌹Linda

  14. your rose garden sounds awesome I grew a rose In my flower garden one year called George Burns It was a reddish pink color I look forward to seeing the roses you grow when there all bloomed out

  15. Every time you use the music that starts playing at 11:53 in one of your videos, I immediately think it’s Better Be Good to Me by Tina Turner. It sounds almost identical. Anyway… I can’t wait to see your rose garden in full bloom over the years!

  16. Yaaassss!!! Welcome to the club! 🌹🌹🌹 I have many of the varieties you mentioned ☺️ You need Marilyn Monroe (cream/yellow) and Love Song (pale purple). Both have massive blooms that last a while on the plant. Enjoy 🎉

  17. I’m really exited for this new cutting rose garden, I will enjoy everything about it, thank you so much. May God keep blessing you and your lovely family ❤

  18. This will be so beautiful! I added a Forever Amber rose last spring and it was my favorite of my 21 roses.

  19. Ooh, what if you put the Galloway rose next to the obelisks and let it climb?

  20. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼😃😃😃😃😃🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹ALSO TRY OTTOS and sons nursery ROSES THE BIGGEST COLLECTION OF DAVID AUSTINS👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

  21. Laura! I know you’re dreading it but you gotta go back to the dentist. I can feel your pain when I watch you talk. Girl. Please. You owe it to yourself to get rid of that pain. Thank you for this amazing beautiful video. Much love.

  22. Curious where the vegetable garden will be? I know you grew corn and pumpkins in the kids garden. Excited to see these roses develop. The fragrance!!!

  23. Yes!!!! So excited to see you planting a big rose garden. I can't wait to see the spectacular arrangements that will come from them. I have a little cottage in the PNW and this will be my second season with 16 rose bushes – mostly in the front yard that are 30+ years old and neglected for the past 5+ yrs. Wonderful to see how quickly they're responding to good pruning, feeding and watering. Such a joy!

  24. Mr. Lincoln is a beautiful red hybrid tea rose with wonderful fragrance. Also Double Delight is cream with pink around the edges with beautiful fragrance.

  25. How exciting to have this rose garden! I never imagined that Laura would do roses and RED roses to boot! It will be so fun to watch this area develop….I wish us viewers could smell the lovely fragrance of these blooms!

  26. Maybe a win-win situation…..the metal trellis that Aaron hates, covered by the dortmund rose?!? Unless it's too rusty to handle the weight. Lol
