Welcome to Kyoto, Japan! This ancient city on the Japanese island of Honshu is one of the country’s top destinations and offers a glimpse into over a thousand years of tradition, history, and culture.

Tradition reigns supreme in Kyoto, which is home to over 2,000 Buddhist temples and Shinto shrines. The city’s quieter atmosphere and more classic architecture make it a far cry from the bustling concrete jungle of Tokyo. It’s also a phenomenal place to dive into Japan’s diverse and complex food culture.

    The reason for the raw egg consumption in japan is because they sanitize the eggs it adds extra creamy to the rice and especially that meat

    In 2013 it was so peaceful as not too many people..in 2017 it was really pacekd and noisy…took away some of the zen feeling
