  1. Awesome job Danny and Wanda. I’m like you Danny I like simple stuff things that aren’t overly complicated in. You know what I mean

  2. Fine Job Danny. I thought I heard you say that was a reproduction hopper. That Hopper you took off is Original IH. The reproduction hoppers have plastic buckets that one looked like fiberglass. Enjoyed. 👍

  3. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

  4. That corn looks nice and big already, l’m probably gona plant mine in a week or so, still had some frosty nights here last week.. l just can’t help but wonder, who owns that pin for the tool if not Danny 🤔

  5. Looks like y'all will be canning soon. Everything is beautiful. Have a question. Is your propane tank a 100# tank? And will the company come out to fill it or do you have to take it in to be filled. Thank you.
Y'all have worked very hard and the results are showing.

  6. What kinda corn seed do you use? I wanted to also tell you. Iv learned so much about gardening from you. Thank you for taking time to show us what to plant , where to plant..

  7. I have watched this video over and over. Never have I ever seen anyone use layby sweeps. I’m amazed. I have a set of them but didn’t know how they worked. Guess I’ll be trying them again. Thanks 👍👍👍

  8. It is amazing all the things that tractor can do, Necessity is the Mother of Invention.

  9. All those sweeps and more sizes half sweeps and even different angle necks you can still get new at Agrisupply.. they have any size and profile you could want. Sure the steel is not as good as the old IH stuff. But even as big as your gardens are it would take you a long time to wear one out.

  10. I love seeing a vintage Farmall tractor being put to use doing EXACTLY what McCormick designed the tractor to do.
If it ain't Red, it stays in the shed!!

  11. Good job Danny! I've always enjoyed plowing (cultivating) corn and peas especially! You can't beat the Farmalls!

  12. All these years having a garden, and I did something that I should’ve thought before I did this! We were getting a storm and 29 degree weather and I didn’t have any covers to put over my raised beds yet. So I went to Orschelns and picked up straw and covered four of my beds with straw. This kept the frost from getting my plants. A few weeks later I started getting hundreds and hundreds of weeds coming up in my beds only the four beds that I put the straw in. After four days of pulling these hundreds of little weeds that kept coming up (I then realized the straw was not organic also!) today I pulled all four beds removed all the soil and added new soil. I guess I can chalk this up to never too old to learn or make mistakes. I did ask though before I purchased straw if there could be seeds and they told me no but it’s still my fault I should have thought there could be and thought about it not being organic. I just panicked I guess is all I can say.

  13. We use my husband’s great grandfather’s 1956 Farmall, just like yours. Every year we’re thankful it starts and does us well. ❤

  14. Just think, Danny…if you had one of today's computer-assisted, GPS-guided "smart" tractors, it would only take one computer glitch, or one faulty wiring harness connection, or one computer virus, or a poor Bluetooth internet signal, or any one of fifty other modern gremlins, and you'd be PARKED…waiting on some computer-tractor geek and "Just-In-Time" parts logistics. And there wouldn't be a single "make-do" solution, improvised part, or country-boy engineering that would get you back in the garden like you can do with that old Cub!!

  15. That is an awesome old tractor I would love to have. I have a 140. My question is why would you disassemble the entire planter if you were going to use totally different tool bar and plows. 2 nuts loose and slipped out of the lift feet and I would have removed the whole planter just like on a 140.great video and greater old tractor.
