Today my son Jake asked if he could join me at Goodwill and as luck would have it they were restocking the shelves at my favorite Goodwill at Rainbow and Cheyenne here in Las Vegas! I have my Thrifting Vegas blanket and my reuseable shopping bags ready. Today, we found so many amazing treasures, and a couple of incredible pieces of furniture! Thrift with me for some unexpected items, learn what to bolo and what to leave on the shelf, and why. Tiff. You didn't show the bottom of the Asian ginger jar. I think it might be Rose Medallion and depending on its mark or lack of one, you can determine it's worth and age. Couldn't you hear me yelling turn it over!?

When I was a kid we lived right by Mile Square park in Fountains Valley (early 70s) we use to walk our dog to the park. One day when I was 8 he decided to run after a big goose and yanked the leash right out of my hand. Into the lake he went but the goose was having none of it and chased him back out. He didn't try to chase the ducks and geese after that.
You know those saucers are best as teabag holders heh heh.

You want to say Peruvian or Bolivian or Ecuadorian. Colombia and Peru are not neighbors. Colombian or Venezuelan? I have no idea about that piece though. Peru had the Incas, so did Chile, Bolivia part of Argentina and very southwestern part of Colombia.
I love that you use your own cloth bags rather than the plastic. Also love how you use the drop cloth on bottom of cart.

I agree with everyone about Jake he is adorable and is starting to get a good eye. I don't think that pottery is Peruvian as my Mom is from.there and I've been there many times and looks like a market piece from another country. What a lot of finds today amazing !!!!
My mom called those dishes you called salt dips “salt cellars”. She always wanted a collection herself. But then, I think she was of the generation that would remember them in actual use.
We called those little china saucers “sweet dishes” and used them to put out chocolates.

I love vintage salt cellars. I use them to put my different fish foods in. I also love teak wood cloches. I saw one towards the beginning of your video. I don’t know if they have any resale value, but I certainly would’ve picked it up for myself:)

I'm especially glad you mentioned that it was Jake helping you when a hand ✋️ came into view on the left when you were gathering up some of the treasures! Sometimes, in their zeal, shoppers can get grabby and spoil all the fun, and I'd hate for that to happen. 😮
