  2. Tim, I am happy you have now visited my home state of New Mexico. The chances for wonderful paintings abound there. I miss New Mexico, now living near Venice, Italy. I hope you had good chances to tastes the cuisine there during your visit. Good video here, it will help people improve.

  4. Really nice! I can't speak for Kenny, but I do believe he meant those small sea sponges they sell in the watercolor section of the art supply stores meant for dabbing pigment onto the surface in a mottled manner, giving easy foliage effects.
    They come naturally "jagged" to give a stippled texture on the paper; not cut into squares.
