  1. That's super smart, building a clean route where you aren't running all over the place. I worked with a guy doing driveways in the winter several years ago and he was cross crossing the city and it was the same way he did mowing and it was so difficult to properly service the customers and he spent a huge amount of time during the day driving instead of working

  4. I have a small company and we did door hangers this year. We picked up 36 new customer this year and about a dozen cleanup customers. We offered 10% off there first service if they signed a service agreement by April 1st. It worked great and kept our guys busy during the off season

  5. I’m in the lawn care industry I produce an average of $1500-$2000 daily and my hours are from 6:30am – 2:30pm some days I’m off by 1:30pm. We have minimum goals of $1300 and each technician produces a minimum of $250k per year in revenue

  6. I live in Nevada and unsure if door hangers are really legal anymore because it's a form of littering but 8 years ago I used to see them all the time but no hate on the method if it works

  7. Knocking on doors and asking for free estimates is effective if you have a good product. The goal is to get one or two accounts and once the results of your services become noticed you will start adding new accounts more and more and routes will become more dense in these neighborhoods. Ideally if a crew can be in one neighborhood for the day or even a few days or the entire week you maximize efficiency

  8. Trying to start my own lawn care business myself. I’ll take any pointers you have. Got some equipment but need to get a few odds and ends.
