I have planned a small Food Forest garden and made a start on organizing the trees that I would like to plant there. Let me tell you and show you my plans and the reasons I chose to plan part of the land this way.
I am looking to source a Judas tree (Cercis siliquastrum), and Chaste Tree (Vitex agnus-castus) if you can help me with these tasks then please contact me in the comments section of the video. Thank you
This is the evolving story of how I came to find myself living on a mountain in Central Portugal. I share my experiences of life at 700m, connecting with nature, exploring the mountain environment, finding joy in each season and learning to live simply. I document the ups and downs of life as I share my thoughts and fears in this new pandemic world.

The garden planning is like doing the half work! I'm planning everything first, especially when it's something that I like very much! I see that you love your food and flower garden! I'm anxious for the results. I send you my love and kisses!🧡🌺🧡☘️🧡🌱🧡
Can you get dwarf trees in Portugal? We've had nice dwarf apple and cherry trees. Best of luck gardening, from zone four.
Hello Deb, lovely Sunday morning view… 😊🥰.. Will follow the forest garden growth , keenly.. how is Bozo doing and you and Chris ? ❤
Hi Deb, just posted links to where you can buy both trees you’re after in Portugal. Of course, my post was deleted😂. Search for Portugal only. I buy from a nursery in Galicia usually. Nasturtiums add colour and their edible seeds are…interesting. I grow fruit trees in tubs to save space. Smaller yield but room for my Australian natives. Could I recommend the marvellous tayberry for your garden. Big purple juicy fruit (blackberry x raspberry). Look forward to seeing this project grow over time.
Wishing you good luck with your food forest plans – it looks like you are already off to a good start. As for the plants you are trying to source, both appear to be available from Portuguese seed suppliers/companies in case you can't find the plants themselves. Hope you manage to track them down.
We are going to follow your garden development for sure, planning is as important as seeing it grow. Miss the little one in the background or walking around and hoping he is ok!
best of luck
