  1. Good Monday morning. Time to get stuff planted and growing. It’s going to be a good week for it here in WV with some 80 degree days. Almost bikini weather 🎉

  2. For small seeds, try using a bottle that spices came in. They have different size holes, depending on the spice. Pick one that looks about right and sprinkle seeds on like you would salt. Cover seeds with a layer of soil and lightly pack it in. As a rule of thumb, seeds should be planted two or three times the size of the seed. When plants are up, thin them out as needed.

I’ve never tried planting potatoes this way, but I’d be surprised if the lower two levels will produce. One common practice for potatoes is to plant a layer of potatoes and once they are up several inches, cover the plant almost completely with another layer of soil, or even hay. When the plant emerges from that, cover them again. With care, and a little luck, the potatoes will produce further up the stalk. Good luck!

  3. well now the work has begun;;;lol;;;work work work;;;water water water;;;no matter how you plant dem little critters they still bunch up;;;I got tired of trying to put a seed every whatever it calls for apart and just dumped in my hand and broadcast over the container and covered with sifted potting mix to cover and used the watering wand on mist setting to wet top soil;;;i then covered with a piece of cardboard the size of the container for a couple of days keeping the cardboard wet occasionally;;removed and let the sunshine in;;with the grow bag I had to water water water until got lazy and made 2×4 square with trashbag over and place grobag in and filled square up with water;;;worked great;;;more time to sit and sip my coffee in the shade while watering the garden;;;;enjoyed;;;hope the weather cooperates for planting;;;I have saved milk jugs all winter for covering tender plants to protect from strong winds and heavy rain util the get enough growth to stand on their own;;;;a big thumbs up and keep em comin

  8. The food truck around the corner that has Japanese food serves big round thin cuts of carrots with heavy purly rice, in the central valley in Calif. they grow big peaches an pears that are a meal in themselves. The Japanese packets of ramen also has little packets of grease they also have packets of salty seaweed. Bye

  9. When I get those garden containers sometimes I soak then in old paint buckets and use for bolts or storage, my friend had a motorcycle parts shop and right away he used them for bolts or plumbing
