  2. Mycorhiza is a category of fungi. There is no mycorhiza AND fungi, only mycorhizal fungi and non-mycorhizal fungi. While it is true that bacteria, fungi and protozoa have symbiotic relationships, what you claimed about their relationship with plants is never the case as far as I am aware.
    Mycorhiza works as an extended rootsystem for the plant.

    Plants can not uptake organic compounds. They're relying on mycorhiza to take up the organics molecules, keep the carbon for it self and send the mineral-ion to the plant in exchange for sugars produced with photosynthesis(something the fungi can't do themselves.).
