Thank you for the information, however what if you have a groundhog will it help it go away?
We use pepper spray. Discourages groundhogs,
rabbits, deer and raccoon from eating new
plants.
hello how r u thank u so much for the video I would like to know if the black paper get in the soil or the flower nothing will happen to my flower cause the grown hog keep eating my flower
– another fun and natural way to control groundhogs is to use a 12 gauge shotgun to blow it in two pieces.
I've tried ammonia and cayenne pepper, neither worked. Only my pellet gun has been successful.
What if I have a small dog
poor birds
i guess the only way to get rid of a woodchuck is to shoot that dam thing no prblem
Ya okay…pepper doesn't work. Put it on and around my bean plants, they never got past 4 leaves.
sweet thanks they are a cute creature but a nuisance .
After I Kill Trap the Mother and Her 3 Pups, You have to then Fill the Hole.( We just Put the Dead hogs in double Plastic Bags and Throw In Garbage.
but not with Dirt..Other wise another mother Hog will return and use that hole next Spring..
1. Pour 5 Gal Bucket of Sacrete down in the Hole
2. 6 Ft long x 2 Ft Wide Sharp Wire Fencing laid Horizontially and Staked into the Ground
3. Topped off /Covered with Sharp Edge Stone or Baseball to Softball Size boulders
If around a Shed Foundation?
1-Lay Sharp Wire all abound the Shed at least 2 Ft Out
2-Stake it down
3. Cover with Golf Ball or Larger Size Rock
Don't Live Trap them Unless you have a Place, miles away , to let them go..Don't even Dare to Let them go on a Farmers Lot or County Road Culvert..Many Counties WIll Fine you and Farmers can charge you will Treaspassing and charge you with the cost of Retrapping that Hog ( Ave $50)
Ask your Local Coffee Rest. Shop if they will take Road Kill for Exoctic Animal Meals?
I have a Stuffed Animal GH and every Late Spring ,bring it into my Coffee Shop and give it to the New Waiteress to have it cooked for me..Always Good for a Laugh and several Others eating their think its a Real Dead one! Then laugh after finding out its a Stuffed Animal toy..

There is other ways than killing them .
This is just more no-kill propaganda. I tried ammonia several years ago, and the animal just ignored it. Then I put burning charcoal briquettes down the hole and partially covered it. No more groundhog.
Mindy, you sure you haven't been lapping this shit up yourself?
Didn't work
HE ATE. ALL MY PLANTS MY STRING BEAN PLANTS MY WATERMELON & CUCUMBER PLANTS GONE……. I DONT HAVE AMMONIA
Try Garlic .. its working for me .. i used the minced kind in a jar .. spread it around then sprinkle black pepper around .. stinks, but so far so good .. they have been living under my garden shed for a couple years .. also i set a radio in the shed night and day ..play it loud! so far they are gone ..i put this around my shed and at the 3 holes they are using to get in and out .. good luck .. there are woods behind me, so they have a place to go .. lol
Look forward to trying it, thanks so much!
Try using a spray bottle with ammonia water and some dish soap and spray it around the area where the woodchuck has been or where they have dug
a hole and take my word they are gone in no time. Also add a little pepper or garlic to the water it works even better then.
I had a turkey decoy that I used in hunting season. I put it out near where the groundhog was trying to establish a burrow. It scared the critter away. Low cost solution. I had tried trapping, smoke bombs, even bear spray. Groundhogs apparently know turkeys will eat their young, so they move on!
I use garlic and haven’t seen any vampires this year.
Thanks.. I love my ground piggies.. I just don't want them eating my tomatoes… as I can them… 💕
pretty bright out, eh?
Feed them a lead sandwich.
I find that .22 rim fire works perfectly.
What if the groundhog is under your basement steps? Sort of like in a crawl space under the steps. We only keep garden tools, old tires etc…there. Little critter got in there yesterday and we don't know how to get it out.
Thank you….!!!! I have a question , is that mixture going to harm my chipmunk, squirrels or birds?
Black pepper doesn't work
Thank you
Thank you
