I recently toured a brand new nursery called Green Acres in Irving, TX. I am so excited about this 2023 plant haul. A plant nursery tour is always fun but this one was so large that it felt overwhelming. But check out my spring plant haul at the end!

  1. If you ever get the chance, you should swing by Redenta's Nursery in Dallas. It's a small nursery but it's packed with different varieties of plants. My go to place for something different.๐Ÿฆ‹๐ŸŒผ

  2. Awesome! Hadnโ€™t heard of this place but believe I see one on the map coming soon to Ft. Worth Ridgmar area. Thank you for this video!
Another place to check out, if you havenโ€™t already, is Rooted In out in Pilot Point. I just did a local pickup of a Texas Tough Natives starter plants box that came from them, but havenโ€™t made the 1hr+ trek to their garden center.

  3. Thank you for this information. I live 29 minutes away from that nursery and didn't even know it was there. I will be visiting it on Friday. ๐Ÿ˜Š I skipped to see what you purchased and loved your choices. Thanks!

  4. Holly Molly!!! That place looked AMAZING. You all are so lucky to have them in your area as that store is the first one opened in TX. It's my understanding that they started in CA and decided to expand to TX. Hope they come to the Houston area someday soon as we really need some diversity regarding our garden/nursery centers. Their prices had me drooling. It will be interesting to see how the plants perform in your gardens.

  5. I canโ€™t wait to visit this place. Iโ€™ve been waiting for it to open. Thanks for the tour. Definitely looks like itโ€™s worthwhile. Wish they had more Proven Winners.

  8. Amazing Plants and so much garden soil supplements. If lived there I would be purchasing land and sea and all the tone fertilizers. Looking forward to seeing all those projects that you have planned and all their updates. And the many tours that you will be doing. Enjoy the rest of your day.

  9. Wow ๐Ÿ˜ฎ I think I would get a vertigo attack – lol so many choices but so many great things ๐ŸŒผ๐ŸŒบ๐ŸŒฟ

  10. Wow that is a huge nursery ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐ŸฅฐI could spend hours shopping there! And probably spend too much ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

  11. I finally found Supertunia Honey in a local nursery and they also had the SuperCal Sunray Pink and Cinnamon varieties! I've been dying to try the Honey variety, so I'm going to do a couple of pots with those!
I truly don't understand why stuff is more expensive in San Antonio than the Dallas area. Those prices were really good generally, but that's much cheaper than down here.

  12. I love that nursery, too. I work in Irving and found that nursery the week they opened. I couldnโ€™t leave some of the items behind which means I bought them before the last frost date. I had to keep everything in the cold frame & garage until I could start planting last week.

  13. So excited to visit Green Acres! I live locally and I have yet to find Bio-tone or land & sea compost in any store. And the prices there are excellent!

  14. Thank you for taking us! That was some plant store! Loved all the different things they had. I could spend a day there if not overwhelmed.
