  1. I have the Cornus mid winter fire in my uk garden ( dogwood) The colourz is flaming ornge and it looks absolutely gorgeous in winter. So easy to look after – just hard prune in tdhe spring. Great video Laura- love seeing the plants that are available to you where you live. We have a more limited choice in the uk. I have 2 varieties of Camassia. One is white with variegated leaves and the other has blue/mauve flowers. Gorgeous! 🙂

  2. Glad the weather is getting warmer
and all that work will show.
Can not wait to see all the beauty.
    “A healthy garden sings ” …
    Sounds of nature.

  3. Still got my fingers crossed for my 'snail trail' pathway suggestion to materialise, but whatever you decide to do, I'm looking forward to seeing the final outcome. In 2018, I grew Camassias for the first time and they were great, but like some tulips they don't always come back the following year. I went to clear out the pot last autumn, only to find that the bulbs were still in situ, then a few weeks ago, I notices them sprouting leaves, so don't dig them up if they take a while to regrow!

  4. I just bought some Tourin Pink Saxifraga the other day! I saw them while getting mulch and could not resist them. They are so pretty!
Question…can the Picotee take full sun? The ones I got want dappled/ morning sun.

  5. I love the blue flower's on that one ground cover and love the pink on the other, I'm thinking about planting me some more ground cover this year. Another great video.

  6. Watching this i saw drip tubing everywhere. And I just realized in her recent vids she said she will do check on the drip system. Once these fill in 10 years, how will you get to all the drip tubing. What will you be your future water system look like. We just turned on our sprinkler system on and found out why one of zones was not working because tree roots cut off one of the pipes.

  7. wow.. cannot wait to see this area in just a few weeks!!! it's going to be EPIC!! maybe you could post a before pic when it was just all dirt when you bought it to how it's expanded into this gorgeous garden!!! 🥰❤thanks for the video!!! 🥰❤

  8. Yes looking great. Yes our snow is finally melting and my flower beds are just about free of snow. I want to see my hydrangeas because the deer have been munching on them.🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ and hopefully there not too short. I definitely want to get out in the garden to fertilize. I finally got my hands on some bio tone starter fertilizer. Exciting to see what it’s going to do to my plants ( experiment). 😂😂😂. Thank you so very much for sharing this with us.🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦

  9. So, when mulching you want a thick layer to perform optimally. At least 2-3 inches, right? So how does that play when planting? I notice you planted level (or very slightly above) the soil surface. When you come in with your compost to mulch, won’t the plants be too low? I’m not sure how deep to plant.

  10. The new plants are lovely and the stone path is looking great! Excited to watch the beds fill up with blooms now that it’s warming up. Here in Phoenix Arizona temps went from 66 degrees F 🥶 to 99 degrees F 🥵 in about a week. I’ve really enjoyed having the cooler temps and extra rain; my winter plants lasted longer. Happy planting everyone!!

  11. Good morning Laura…cheers to you, as I drink my morning coffee! Can you do a listing of "four season" interest plants? Like you, I live in a zone 6a but am not as familiar with perennials as you.

  12. You're such a hands on gardener , I like how you do all your own labor work, you really enjoy gardening, it shows

  13. Snow is still melting in my yard in MN but we are expecting low 80s today. I was wondering if you had ever considered putting decorative name stakes in the ground, by your plants, like arboretums use to help remind you what you have planted?

  14. i love your remembrance of all you plant and where
i just can listen to you and watch videos over and over! thank you girl for making my day

  15. Here in zone8a spring has sprung, even though Jack Frost keeps trying to make another appearance. Love those colored twig dogwoods!! Sadly too hot here.

  16. You are a garden fairy personified ❤❤❤ you make me fall in love with the garden everyday with your joy 😊

  17. You guys should do a video where you react to your first garden season at this property! Compared to now 😄
