  1. I have been seeing ads for the letters! I’ve always wondered if they were as good as they claim!!❤

  2. Do you tie your own flies for fly fishing? My son and grandson do. I miss taking the time for hobbies. We use the All Trails app and hike somewhere new every weekend. Take care-Sue in MI

  3. This is why I love your channel!!
You always have fun and interesting things to share with us. I love writing letters, Scrapbooking, journaling, gardening, baking…a few more. I love tea too and your cup is so cute! I get a CS Farmhouse style mag. 😍 Thanks for these ideas! 🪻🐦🌷

  4. I’ve been very interested in trying The Flower Letters. Such an interesting and novel concept. Ironically, last week I discovered Tea Time magazine. I found a copy in n a thrift store for only .60 cents! I love it. Beautiful photos and amazing recipes I’m dying to try!
    Great ideas!

  5. I have so many hobbies. When my husband passed away in 2014, I ended up moving out of my home into a condo. I put away my sewing machine and serger and just didn’t have the heart to pull them out; however, recently I’ve had the itch to sew 🧵 and dragged out all my sewing supplies and began working on simple crafts again. Now, THANKS TO YOU!!
I have ordered a few more things to add more hobbies to my list! Thanks a lot!! 😝
seriously, you had some great ideas. I’ve ordered the devotional, color, book and download of the game app.
I noticed you sounded a bit nasally you like you’ve been sick again. I’m sorry if you are feeling under the weather I know you struggle a lot with your health blessings and may God give you healing and strength and God bless Jason. ❤

  6. Thanks Leslie! You always inspire me! I’ll try the Tea Time and Gem painting and maybe the devotional coloring book! 💜you💞🥰✝️

  7. Leslie, The Flower Letters are awesome and so intriguing and it makes it hard to wait the two weeks to get the next!! I did 2 subscriptions, 1 for my daughter and 1 different one for my granddaughter!! I get to read them and all the lil mentos are very authentic!! You will not be disappointed to treat yourself, a family member, ora friend!!!

  8. Thank you so much I’ve just ordered the flower letters can’t wait to receive it ❤️🌺

  9. 🧵🪡 Quilting , crafting, gardening, cooking, Jazzercise -so nice to be able to enjoy what I love since I retired 1 1/2 yrs ago after working 35 years and raising a family.

  10. great video and loved all the suggestions! have some gift ideas for my older mom! especially the flower letters!

  11. My parents started together telling my daddy's story. Daddy would talk sometime they taped or mama wrote in a notebook. They had enough for a book. Daddy had dementia. We lost daddy on St Patrick's day 3 yrs ago. I miss him telling his stories. However we have his stories. Please don't wait.

  12. Great video! I've done some of these things. Nice new ideas to try. I would never picture you fishing 😊

  13. We really do feel better when we have enjoyable hobbies . My daughter gave me two felting kits – something totally new to me but I am enjoying it. I have always done crafts. Someone who has some neat ideas for journals is Shayda Campbell on Youtube.

  14. These are great ideas! I do the Wordle and Globle every day, but here are some fun free iPad games as well: Lemmings, Woodoku, Nonogram, Parking Jam, and Tiny Tower!

  15. I need hobbies but haven’t found many that check the boxes.I usually do a hobby hardcore until I am sick of it.I have did jewelry marking ,flower arranging, sudoku, adult coloring books and game apps.I tried Diamond painting and crochet but didn’t like them.I like pining floor plans on Pinterest also .

  16. I absolutely loved this video and I wish I could give it multiple "likes"!! You had so many really cool and unique ideas. I am home a lot now, too. My situation isn't exactly the same, but last year my husband and I moved my 89-year old dad in to live with us and it's been hard and depressing and sad and I have been spending way too much time online and being completely unproductive. I recently started coloring in a really cute adult coloring book that has houses and plants and flowers and I find it to be so relaxing, too. I have been using crayons instead of pencils (I know that's probably weird but the smell and feel is so nostalgic for me). I am going to check into so many of your suggestions, especially the devotional coloring book, the murder mystery games, and the gem painting. I am so intrigued by the gem painting. I can't thank you enough for all your ideas. I wish you, Jason and your family a blessed Easter season. ❤

  17. I encourage people to use something like the legacy journal. My mother has dementia, but in the process of going through some of her things recently I came across writings she had done of her childhood and growing up and these are treasures for me right now. I also had given her a Mother's Journal for Mother's Day one year and she had filled that in also. Time goes by quickly, and our health or physical ability to write can change over time, so these opportunities to leave our messages behind are important to do in the moments we are able.

  18. I played June's journey for years. And I love diamond painting. I love mystery stuff so some of these sound awesome to me. Something I've done in the past is scripture writing. I plan on beginning again again in May. And I'm so grateful for recommendations that u can do by yourself

  19. I have returned to playing the piano as a hobby. I took lessons for years as a child but gave it up. I still have my childhood piano and have downloaded an app that has a great library of songs I'd like to learn. Some days I am frustrated by all that I've forgotten but it's so rewarding when you finally make progress! Great for the mind! I am also learning conversational French.

  20. Thank you for covering this! It is so frustrating as a care giver when those that are not around all the time make it a point of telling me that there isn't anything wrong with my husband and I have a problem and need to let up on him. They don't have a clue. God bless you both!

  21. Love these ideas, several of which I already do, as well as general crafting, sewing, crochet and gardening. Something I have been interested in, and I think would really appeal to you, Leslie, is buying or making, and decorating, a dolls' house. Whether you make the furniture, or buy it (or a mixture of the two), this would involve crafting and designing – and you could even do it all in an 'English Manor house' style (although I would recommend picking a specific era, e.g. Regency, Georgian, etc.) Speaking of which, I love your videos and am following you from a town not too far from Bath, England (Jane Austen territory)! 😊

  22. Thank you for this. I sent my husband a link for the flower letters. Perfect gift . I am especially interested in the Audrey Rose WWII story as my dad was a WWII vet.

  23. I've been trying to think of a gift for my mom for her birthday! The Flower letters are perfect! So glad your video was randomly suggested. ❤

  24. I just signed up and ordered TheFlower Letters! The same one you ordered. I can’t wait to start getting them. I love all your ideas. I rug hook and do Bible Journaling and read to relax. I love studying Gods word. I live with chronic pain 24 -7 . I’m handicap so my life is in a recliner all day and night. Chemo and radiation did a lot of damage to my body. I have Lupus also. Y’all are in my prayers always, thank you for sharing your journey with all of us. 🙏🏻❤️🤗

  25. I play June's Journey and love it. I use it to relax. I'm a caregiver for my special needs daughter who is an adult.
