  1. When you started twisting the branches I was 😍! Maybe I can do this with crepe myrtle? I will have to go exploring in my woods too. Thanks for sharing the idea!

  2. It will be really beautiful covered with sweet peas. You inspired me to go out and work on my bamboo tee pee for Easter family dinner.
I need to soak my scented sweet peas as soon as I find them.

  3. I literally planted mine 30 minutes before you posted this video! With all the rain I didnt get them started til today. So happy to see you planted them today. I am planting by seed though so we shall how they do. I made a trellis with what I had…bamboo sticks

  4. Monty Don always uses poles of that thickness for his Teepees. I have to use bamboo, thick poles are too expensive.

  5. I enjoyed your video so much, thank you. Im in Zone 7A and have over 30 sweet pea growing, i was wondering where to plant and you have given me the absolute best idea!! Thank you for all you do for us

  6. That is genius. I planted my sweet pea seeds in Dec. Then transplanted in Feb. They are climbing my bamboo wigwam poles nicely. Hoping for flowers this month. But this So Cal rain has completely altered my gardening routine and schedule from years past.

  7. Can't wait to see those sweet peas blooming. Great job on the teepee (or tipi)!

  8. Wow I’m totally impressed and jealous of your cottage garden Brian! Wishing a Easter to you and your family. I always enjoy your projects 🐣🌷🌼

  9. I’ve got SSSOOO many sapling trees like that, that are littering up my property SO bad. Too big to mow down, but too small to chop down like trees. I should teepee them as well, BUT, how do you clean up the stumps and roots so you have good clean grass/earth again, and not a bunch of tiny hidden trip-hazards?

  10. I LOVE this system. In my next life I will definitely try it. For now, I’ll enjoy your efforts. Can’t wait to see the blooms. Sweet peas are among my favorites. Thank you.

  11. Love the trellis, I will have to ask my neighbor if I can cut some of his willows. Would love to try making this!!

  12. I LOVE your teepee! I just bought some bamboo poles to try to make one for my passion vines. Your instructions will help. Any suggestions on what I can use to “wrap” like you did with the branches? I think rope would deteriorate too quickly?? Thanks for posting this now.

  13. I love that trellis and I love sweet peas ❤ i just can't germinate them anymore no idea why, I've built something new for them but it's not as pretty, brilliant vlog Brian 🥰

  14. This is a really cool trellis ♥ I am really excited to see the cottage and its garden finished. I wish you to have decent weathers so you can do it.

  15. That trellis is beautiful and perfect for the cottage garden. Can't wait to see it covered in sweet pea blooms

  16. Beautiful! I love how you used the copiced (spelling?) trees for this project. I have something like that but it is thorny huisache treelets or suckers that came up after I had to remove the big tree (fell over in an ice storm because it leaned too much). I let the suckers grow last summer because they provided needed shade to a couple pots of flowers that wilted every day in the hot Texas sun! I keep them trimmed down a bit but they could be used as trellis material when I trim them. Just have to cut off thorns! Or I could just buy some bamboo poles! 😊

  17. Really hope you provide update videos on how it looks when the flowers are in bloom. Looking forward to seeing that. And thank you for sharing
