Good morning! So, so many plants to plant! Do you ever get to the point where you say to yourself, “enough I’m tired!” I know this is your jam but you have 2 young children that are exhausting also. I get worn out just watching what you do in a day & I’m sure that’s not even half of what you do in a day.
Your greenhouse is total inspiration for us!!! Thanks so much for sharing your beautiful videos. All the work involved must be incredible. Love the idea of wheels too on the tables. Great tip!
Can you give an update on the piano room inside the house? Have you finished painting and decorating? Would love to see that! 🤗
What’s planted in with your lime tree?
That place is full of life and potential for beautiful flowers soon! Love the tour, Laura 💕💕
how precious is that little "Ben" tag🥲… hope you keep it💖
Are you fertilizing the seedlings or just watering? Wow, everything looks great.
Wow you can actually have fig trees in your area?! Why not adding it to your orchard? Haha would look very nice with the rest of the trees 😍. Or plant it in the south garden with a couple more of em. Fig trees have a very nice and complex form of growing that will give you a nice structure to your garden!
Good morning GA friends! Happy Easter!
If you leave you fig tree out for winter, I suggest you wrap it well. I did that in my zone 6 in New Jersey. I am in zone 7B now Arkansas. With the December cold blast below zero I think I lost all my Fig trees.
Do you know if Miracle Grow potting soil has changed their formula? I have fungus gnats like never before and I have read that other people have the same issues. So frustrating!
I love hollyhocks because they remind me so much of my Grandma's gardens. I have quite a few that come up but they always get rust and I'm not sure how to treat it. I planted more seeds than ever this spring in my greenhouse AND i think that last night may have been the last night that I need my heater on out there. 🤞
The Rottnest Daisy is said to be invasive in Kentucky Ohio, both are zone 6, so maybe direct seeding would work in Oregon too. I also read it has a salty sea smell. Perhaps it's pleasant though. Does anyone know more about this blue flower at 31:10? Thanks for all the help and inspiration GA Team and Fans!
The soil around the dahlias look kinda dry, is that intentional?
🌱🪴🌱NICE‼️🌱🪴🌱
When will you uncover the in ground dahlias that you overwintered?
I planted penstemon seeds too. The package said they needed an eight week moist stratification period. I put them in seed starting mix and kept them in my fridge. They are up and doing well – Rocky Mountain Blue Penstemon from Botanical Interests.
Everything looks wonderful
Goodness, what an abundance of flowers! I used to not be a fan of red flowers until my son joined the navy and now I do red, white, and blue planters that look amazing with my flag. 😊 this year I’m going to do more and put petunias in the front beds in the same colors because he is about to deploy again. Another thing that happened that was so amazing was I had a huge flock of hummingbirds last summer that apparently REALLY love red flowers. I have a video of them swarming the feeder. It was just magical. I hope you will consider changing your mind about red. It’s all mindset, right? Thank you for inspiring me every day. I have a hard time making it through the whole video because I get antsy to go work outside! 😂 you are the best! ❤
What do you use when your Hollyhocks get rust?
I don't plant them anymore due to this.
Also my dwarf mandarin has heaps of leaf growth and hardly any flower shoots, any idea to remedy this?
Thanks in advance, Jo.
Kangaroo paw are a difficult plant to keep happy. Once established they do OK.
The calla lillies are fantastic for structure….also white swan echinaceas pop in the garden bed.
Your greenhouse is a dream! New to watching and I am so glad I found your channel. What state and zone are you in? I’m in NE Ohio and the weather here has been similar to yours.
I really enjoyed this video. You definitely have a green thumb. I am glad you are getting to enjoy the spring and that you have time to enjoy your children. They grow up so fast so grab every minute. Have a blessed day!
Ironman mask is always a necessity ❤️
Incredible selection of plants! I’m trying some that you mentioned in previous videos. How are you going to get all those thousands of plants in the ground! It’s going to take forever!
Are you going to plant a pomegranate in the orchard for fruit production?
I did the Veronica in three locations. Our heat (zone 8, coastal N.C.) and humidity did in two of them but one in a more sheltered location is blooming now. So 33% success.
🙋
Gonna need a bigger boat (greenhouse) 🤣🤣🤣⚓️⛴️
Thank you for showing us how your winter sowing is coming along…could you please do a video when you open them, and show what your next step with them will be?
Godliness with contentment is great gain. 💖 My favorite verse! So happy for you, Laura! Thanks for sharing your blessings.💗
Will your foxglove bloom the first year?
