Nadia is leaving.
After only having spend two weeks in our house Nadia has to return to the yacht she is working on. It were only two weeks spend in France but fortunately we have been able to achieve quite a lot together.
We’ve purchased items for the little house and worked on the garden.

Right before she left we’ve decided on a new approach for the garden; terraces. We find that an elegant way of creating space for growing plants and veggies as well as having maximum ‘flat’ maintenance free space on top of the raised level.

See how its coming along in this and the next episodes.

  1. You both have been busy. You have done a lot of hard grafting again. Just take care of your back Marius. Well done you two ❤

  2. I really miss Nadia. You have done a lot of hard work and the results are starting to show. I am unable to pay for coffee but I always enjoy watching your progress. Cheers from Oz to Nadia and yourself. xxx

  3. Your newly cleared patio area looks far larger than I expected when work was inn progress! Very good job!

  4. I like the new intro sequence and the shots in between . Man !! Doesn’t Nadia crack her whip hard 😅 looking forward to next week . Bonne continuation.

  5. I was rolling laughing with Nadia helping you organize! It reminded me of my daughter and I organizing our garage yesterday. Do you have to treat the back of the wood on the terrace walls to delay decay?

  6. Bonjour ,le travail est dur vous êtes courageux mais ,tout vos efforts seront récompensés plus tard

  7. I love how you go from one plan to another first inside then outside. That way you work the plan continually

  8. I think your bulwarks for the terraces being "rustic looking" goes with the cottage much more than some "fancy sculptured garden look".

  9. I'm glad you're going with the terracing: I think it will look great & work well & for you. & Kudos on the huge amount of work you've gotten done.

One suggestion: would it work to get a roughly hammerhead-shaped piece of tough heavy wood, and a generally hammer-handle-shaped piece of strong flexible wood; and make your own wooden hammer?

  10. Sorry for this question ,but are you going to put clment around the house to protect your walls from humidity ? I am French, and not so good with English I am following your good work take care of yourself ,
