Spring has sprung and I have more cardboard collected! That means it’s time to kill more grass by sheet mulching. I’m also sharing how to sheet mulch step by step so that you can do this project in your yard to build more gardens.

There are signs of spring everywhere now and I’m getting hopeful for the gardening season ahead.

  1. Great work on the continued sheet mulching, Laura! I've done that in several places, and it works really well – except with Bermuda grass! 😖☺️
And it's so much fun seeing the flowers come to life in the spring! 😊 I'm in the same holding pattern as you when it comes to planting next to my back fence. My son is replacing it for me very soon. (He once worked building cedar fences. 😁) We got all the materials quite a while ago, but we're still waiting for the long rainy winter to end!

  2. It makes me so happy to see people replacing their lawns with carbon-sequestering food plants. I can’t wait to follow and see how this turns out. Lawns > Gardens
