FAQ: how do you keep your monstera leaves so clean and shiny?

Answer: the truth is, I don’t. This plant lives in a Sunday school room – there are children near it on a regular basis and a caretaker vacuums the floor every week. I think with the high traffic and regular cleaning of the room as a whole, there is little dust that can settle on the plant. As with most plant care strategies, it’s often better to address the issues at the environmental level as opposed to the individual plant.
