  1. I’m so glad that I not only listened, but reacted to your advice back in 2020! I went from no fruit trees to now having (16) in a very short period of time. I looked for deals here and there and some of everywhere but I got them. I could buy (3) trees back then for the price of (1) now and I’m like WHEW!!!! Thanks as always Uncle Lead!

  3. Time to clone your own, get free leaves, free grass clippings, free manure, free organic matter and food scraps from your own house. Time to get seeds and starts from the market. Good of you to not start any panics and point out all the free stuff. Yay!

  4. Thanks so much for starting this channel. I just purchase a home with some land. I have always wanted to do this. I have a ton of trees..very little open space where there’s sun…to grow veggies and fruit. I may have to cut a few of my trees..to make it happen. I'm also want to get chickens. Do you have a video on your chickens?

  5. You know what else is ridiculous, 5 gallon bucket prices! $5 per bucket… that’s insane! I ordered some 2-4’ apple trees from Guerneys back in November and they were $45 each, which I thought was a lot. Thank the good Lord, He has blessed us with a big wild blackberry and raspberry patch on our property. I’d like to pick up another fig and a peach tree though.

  6. Red delicious, "most people don't even want this". You know thats right! 🤣

  7. I've been buying a bunch of seeds and saving seeds from our balcony garden last year. We plan on buying a house in a year. I hope we things hold out till then. So far I used the balcony to supplement food but I'm getting nervous.

  8. I think your best bet would have been to get some cuttings from different neighbors trees who are grown there locally it would be free and you could save all that money you just spent on other things so try to take cuttings off your existing trees and bushes and ask for others

  9. I live down the street from Becnel and Sons citrus nursery. I already have a few citrus trees in my backyard and I'm taking the LSU home orchard production course online. Its helped me a lot in deciding the tree that I want.

  12. damn the prices in the US r high
here in saudi arabia we buy 1 year old grafted tree for only 6$ maximum 2 years for 15$ to 20$ and 3 years for 35 to 45
and the trees thats comes from a rooted brnch for half the price
if u buy in huge numbers the price can be as low as 1 dollar each but you need to order 300 tres at least

  15. !!!! If you are on disability, ect and receive food stamps you can buy fruit trees !! We do a lot !! Of canning I did run low but I found Walmart had ball mason jar 12 count 16 oz and 32oz jars for $8.98 big savings so I ordered another 12 cases to restock up I highly suggest everyone do the same with summer gone I do have to go to farmers and collect goods to be canned but this is the cheapest way to do this 👌🏻 also store food are starting to be genetically modified so they will not see if you plan on growing from your fruit and veggies get organic or local grown by farmers !! Cross breed apples are very well know for this as well
