  1. Common sense gardening !
I think I have been successful in having my husband eat what I grow. He used to think my vegetables are dirty because of the scraps he sees me bringing out to compost. He specially enjoys the greens.

  2. Great minds think alike Ivan, I was on our local green having seen the council guys cut the grass yesterday😳to gather up 2 large bags of cuttings then on to the local beach for seaweed (only lying on the sand) for a fabulous nitrogen feed in my water butts. Oooo so excited for the growing season now about to burst forth- thank u so much for yet another fab vid Ivan- and EVERY DAY- gosh u are spoiling us 🎉happy days 🎉

  3. Was very funny about the long fingernails I am a female gardener and I do have my nails done but not 4 inches long.ha ha

  4. I use a bucket of nettles. So long as those nettles are from a place where no one has sprayed them with weed killer. Pack it into a bucket and then pour water in and then I put a piece of wood over it and leave it a while. Used to use comfry when I had an allotment, but there's none growing here. I'll use my good grass cuttings for mulch. 🙂

  5. Did the same last year I let it steep all winter long and a few weeks ago I filtered all the bits out for a super feed this year. wasn't slimme at all looked more like wet straw.

  6. Ivan – I have a spare water butt. What would be the best way to turn this into a compost container?
