    The neighbor I mentioned in the past, in his 80s. I make sure to have bird feeders for him to see from his kitchen window. 😊 He just called and said he had 5 empty plastic coffee containers and asked if I wanted them…🙂. Of course, I went to get them. Guess "my reputation" proceeds me…😂 I planted the onion starts today. I also put the greens I had started indoors outside. They look rough, so either they will grow or become compost..win, win. Have a wonderful week.

    Unfortunately, my mint plants didn't survive our several winter freezes. They didn't like the minus 4 degrees with a wind chill of minus 19 degrees! Mints, as well as many of my other plants, froze solid over our winter months. I'm having to start all over with most of plants this spring, once it's warm enough to plant them. I looked a couple of days ago at Walmart and a small peppermint plant is over $5. Couldn't find a chocolate mint.

    You probably have shown it & I missed it but how did you rig those 2 plant holders on either side of the railing…at 2:01? You used something blue, rope maybe? Twine?

    I was about to tell you that I thought chocolate mint in coffee is really good before I saw this. I'll have to try it your way. I had been just dumping the mint leaves in my French press or thermos.
    Chocolate stevia drops is nice addition.
    I haven't found a way to grow mint all year around in Florida and don't drink coffee that often, so it's more like a treat than an everyday thing.
    Update: Your way is much better.

    I love this idea ~ I have so many different kinds of mint everywhere . Now I will have it hanging all over my deck ! I use a stevia Chocolate Mint syrup in my coffee , I will try just using the leaves . I already make a lot of Mint Tea & dehydrate loads of mint , make Mint Tincture for flavoring , etc .
