  1. Josie, we love your trips to Bamford and Daylesford!! In the morning over tea my husband and I have started greeting one another with 'Good Morning my Darling!!" and I say to him shall we go to Daylesford today…lol..we live in Maine in the USA. It's nice to play!! your videos take us away on a magic carpet ride!! I am teaching 2 classes in the Fall on English History, and my favorite places and I am going to include a tour of the Cotswolds!!! Thank you Josie!!

  2. Unle Bob was the British prime minister in 1887 Robert Gascogne -Cecil ..he appointed his nephew James Balfour as minister for Ireland ..so easy to get a job when Bobs your uncle !

  6. Josie, I always love your Vlogs. Please more greenhouse advice, I am just assembling mine and I am very excited to get going. P.S. Your teeth are looking amazing!!! xxx

  7. Josie, I love Guerlain perfume… they use no "artificial " ingredients… the scents last for so long, and they are so intense.

  8. Such a beautiful vlog. Still looking at 2 feet of snow out my window, love seeing your spring .

  9. You’re killing me with the ā€˜nipple-y’, ā€˜booty-esque’, ā€˜Pippa’ quips!šŸ˜‚ Love the jazzy cookie music šŸ‘šŸ½ (All the music is great.)

  11. Sadly I can never get your amazon links. It always comes up, Ooops, page not found. This page does however give you pictures of dogs and their names that work at amazon.

  12. ā€œBob’s your uncle!ā€ Josie???!!!šŸ˜‚ That’s the funniest thing I’ve heard… ever! Speaking of Bob šŸ˜‚ that thing you added to the belt to keep it fastened and out of the way? We in the US call it a BOBby pin! So that Bob is always getting around! Lol Bob’s your uncle! šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

  15. I absolutely agree with your comment about the "boob" cup detail on the h and m floral dress Josie. I am larger chested and sized up in the dress, even though my usual size fit because of how small the cup detail look and it throws off the visual ratio of the dress. I plan on getting the waist taken in and the fit should be perfect.

  16. I got so much secondhand sadness when you said you shrunk one of your sweater dresses, but was happy to see that it wasn't this one you're wearing in the end of this vlog! This one is my favorite, I love the shape that it has, it looks so flattering & easy to wear! šŸ’™

  17. Josie, your makeup in the clip when you're wearing your pink dressing gown looks beautiful! I'm not sure if it's the dressing gown that brings out your skin tone and eye colour but whatever you did looks great!

  18. the first satin dress from hm seems to be from last season, which you tried on in another video, in which you also thought it was suitable for bridesmaids. so you had a very honest opinion since you still believe that šŸ˜‚

  19. Hi Josie, love your house. As a designer with a background in arch and interiors you should consider lifting up your tiled floor in your dinning room, concreting it – retile. Could be a great opportunity for under floor heating (environmentally or not) and also work on a moisture barrier, and blocking the chimney flue with an inflatable if not in use.. couldn't help and give my two cents but I can tell from looking at the space visually that this may become an issue. Best to consult an engineer, but something to consider – again maybe the previous owner took these things into consideration. I know how frustrating old houses can be.

  20. Nasturtiums not geraniums and apparently they keep some creature at bay I think from eating vegs? May be wrong?? Please get rid of the dead lemon tree!! I have one on my window sill with a flower so hoping for a lemon. You inspired me with the radish and I have them growing outside! I love the Erdem dress and my daughter and I both love Erdem for its origninality. The china is delightful and have to smile at how Charlie sneaks in his furniture – you must wonder where something will pop up next? My dad was the same and my mother would say "George what have you bought now?" We always smiled as he wanted a certain way of life he did not have growing up in London and wanted higher values which we loved. The two piece is beautiful on you. Galvanised iron looks great in a greenhouse like the dolly tubs. A sense of age. A climber might be lovely in there like bouganvillea. May be too hot but could go in a more shaded corner.

  21. Drumstick primula and pussy willow which my children and I gathered from our garden at Easter and called it the popcorn tree – a salix. Great fun in a vase and ornamental eggs hung on it for an Easter tree for children and adults. You and Charlie could make ornamental eggs for the tree – make a pin hole at one end of the egg and get rid of the yolk etc and then paint your empty egg. See who can paint the best. šŸ™‚

  22. Instead of those grasses which are too exposed maybe how about going for spring blossom with spirea – there is one called wedding veil and the white blossom there in the spring would be lovely. Chaenomeles – the white one is lovely too and magnolia stellata so you would have the white and the green which looks so delightful and would match your plates and napkins:-)

  23. I have always found H&M clothing good quality and keep pieces for years. Their style is unmatched in my opinion and the colours they have and top design that you can rely on – no I am not being paid by them šŸ™‚ Cannot speak more highly of them. Have you seen the pink blossom strappy dress in cotton? Longer length and had to buy it.

  24. Snowball tree lovely too – you had some in vases on tables at Bamford. Gosh Bamford going to be wonderful for keeping fit. If you look at longevity that I am fascinated with most of those keep fit in some way or another.

  25. When you are sat in there – your mum will back me up on this one. My generation would have said sitting in there as "sat" is past tense and you are talking about present tense. I notice Lydia says it too. Strange to me that the tenses are used in this way. You are sitting at a table not your are sat at a table. Northeners seem to use the past tense but we are not northerners. Sorry but English is english and I just had to say. Put the cat amongst the pigeons again I am sure.
