    This is officially my favorite song by Melanie… EVER! There's just something about it…
    The lyrics feel so personally relevant to me, in so many different ways, especially after I lost my mom to cancer a few months ago.

    "When you aren't around, I sink into the ground. I try to pretend I'm closer to you."
    "I don't wanna be carrying the weight on my shoulders. Death has come to me, kissed me on the cheek, gave me closure."
    I can't listen to this and NOT cry, it's just so good.

Like excuse me dude stfu) if you actually have something legitimate like 'the music could of done this' or 'this could be improved by ____' Then that's fine. But if you're here just to say 'Ew ThiS iS sO WeiRD wtf! I liked the OLd Melanie!' Good for you, people don't need to know.     For thoses who don’t know what that thing in her chest is her heart because in one of her songs it says “ Your heart is too big for your chest “or body (I forgot) and her being dead her skin is less dense so that’s how her heart broke through her layers of skin
