    I freeze some things from garden directly to freezer.. but some of the things you mentioned going to the freezer..?? Do you parboil.. or flash boil any of the stuff you freeze? I froze green beans last year but I didn't like the texture later in the winter.. I'm not sure if they got freezer burn? If I need to first parboil then freeze? Any advice?

    Basil is also a pest control for those pain in the butt critters that we don't want in our Tomato's. Along with Onions.

    You can eat the leaves in a salad to add some mild heat. I make nasturtium leaf salt to add to soups and stews.

    Looking good! I've not had luck with Brussels here…but I try almost every year. Last season, I left a couple as a trap crop and it worked awesomely!

    You amaze me in how you leave your plants and just cut them back…where most garderners i have watched rip them out and start from seed again…is this b/c of where you live that you are able to do this?
