It was at this house in France about 16 years ago when I was just starting my career in the world of #landscape #design that I first noticed this ephemeral #plant, #illuminated & #dancing in the breeze. A bit of #horticultural sleuthing later had identified it as Gaura lindheimeri; a fabulous long #flowering perennial that for me, is still a #musthave in any #garden. I #love that it is still here, in the same spot, still as #hypnotically #beautiful as the first time I noticed it.
