Bring onx offroad to Canada already!
Love this video….I too am in love with Mojave Desert, but not have driven Mojave Road yet or the heritage trail…now it's on my bucket list.
I am dreaming of going out to the Mojave to explore. Saving vacation time for such a trip with my gladiator Mojave. 😂 hopefully I don’t have to wait until I retire to do it!,,
Thank you for this video and for preserving this history. I hop to get into a position where I can join the effort to work on & save this trail as well as others.
Great episode
Was scheduled for the Mojave Road a week ago but with another storm coming in decided to cancel it. Hopefully next year.
Cool. Thanks for vid.
Well done. A tribute to Casebier and his road.
Thank you OnXoffroad. Love the Mojave and Death Valley areas. Hope to visit again soon, OnX helping the way.
1. Excellent, well done video. Great production. 2. Kipling's poem, The Explorer, will change your life, even if you are already an outdoor person. 3. Local BLM field offices can be an extremely valuable resource. Or not. Around the Mojave, I find the Needles office excellent. 3. If you want to really explore, hike in just a little bit to areas off the main roads. Anyplace without a road or a mention in a guide book. I continue to find (and leave alone) things like candles stuck on rocks, where the last mining was done by candlelight and with artifacts lying right on top of the ground. 5. OwlsHead GPS is very good. 6. I keep non-emergency numbers for each of the county sheriff departments around the Mojave in my truck. 7. And although I am a amateur radio operator (KD6NSP), I prefer my sat phone over a handheld. It's an old Globalstar unit which I can half-heartedly recommend. Long story. 8. Didn't mean to ramble. 9. Thanks again.
Excellent Chris. Keep on. X.
Awesome video guys!!
Tread lightly, and carry a big sti, errrr, shovel. Fix it for the next X-traveler, and it'll be there for the next generation. Keep up the good work!
OnXoffroad has been the go to tool for me for the last year and a half. My Mojave plan for this year has just been given a bump up. Thanks!
Thank you for taking on this HUGE effort to manage, maintain, and promote this beautiful natural resource….
this is awesome and so inspiring. Thank you guys for all your hardwork and we do need to get more people involved in preserving this historic trail
👍
This is fantastic. So engaging. Great production.
Nice work Chris and Billy!
Keep going with this kind of film work. Very well done, love it!
gotta visit this year!
Thanks for the efforts preserving the road. It's an epic trip. Nature, friends and adventure is my church of the desert.
Has to be the best job ever! Going out and doing routes and mapping. I would give my left testicle to that work with you. Absolutely epic!
Great work onX Offroad for starting a project of putting together conservation-themed films oriented toward Vehicle-Based Recreation. Our future in continuing to enjoy our public lands depends upon our ability to advocate for responsible recreation while conserving and enhancing access. This film inspires me to do just that.
Great short. Riding in the desert must be a whole different experience.
I live in north ga and have been trail riding since 17. I just got the app and looking forward to testing it out and using it to get back into something that I really love.
Thank you Billy for bringing the Mojave under our attention. May your passion for keeping this land open for us to explore be a true blessing to you and all to follow.
