No its not possible that you have a piece 😅f rib floating around Its very common to have bruised the rib- cartilage from coughing and it will stay tender for sometime but it will heal so don’t worry Josie We have or will all have done this from a bad or prolonged cough Feel better.

The grasses you were referring to I have had them in the past… You just cut them back and they will regrow !!!

You can actually fertilise in Autumn as well as spring!! It gives the plant's roots a good feed.
Grasses are alive. Also fruit trees will not grow that big and shouldn't, in fact you should keep them on a smaller side because if they grow too high you won't be able to pick the fruits.
