  1. Haven't heard you mention the self Reliance Festival over in Camden, are you no longer a part of that?

  2. Chickasaw plum is a native plum variety, suckers freely, weak wood .. grows in a shrub habit, fruit is small but edible. Not great root stock for other prunus, but if you are looking for a pioneer fruit tree for zone 5 permaculture, 6 bucks isn't too high. Shipping of bare root trees has closed for us until Fall, when everything goes dormant again, but we still have some edible perennials and heirloom seed left. Nursery prices are going up everywhere, and stock goes fast .. so get what you want now while you can, folks!

  3. Your the only person I’ve studied so far , that you have no chinks in your armor , Congratulations ! Extremely Hard to do ! I’m picky

  4. You made me think about the mulberries I grow those man it’s unbelievable just keep cutting off the stems just below the the leaf shoot you’ll have hundreds of them just from a few branches. I ran into a guy from Syria. He showed me pictures of the mulberry bushes they have over there. Their mulberry, bush berries are actually inch to 2 inches long summer even bigger is incredible My little ones are not even a half inch. I feed those to the chickens. And I eat them I don’t eat too many at one time I will give you gas.😂

  5. Your like a kid at the candy shop. 😂 I’m like that too when I go to buy fruit trees. Enjoy your new homestead goodies 👍😃

  6. Shipping update! The $65 shipping is a placeholder and if we can ship it cheaper then we will refund the difference! Thank you all for the support and please reach out if you have any questions!

  7. My state (Arkansas) is giving away up to 3 free trees (bare root) in celebrating Arbor Day. Can't have too many imo lol

Dept of Agriculture – mine is Forestry tab/Urban Planning tab for info

  8. We can go broke at that place! We got some barefoot from there last week. Great place and the owner is very knowledgeable. God bless y’all!

  9. Another shipping update! We have reduced the shipping to just $35 based on the rates we’ve been able to negotiate! Orders placed by noon on Tuesday will ship same day!

  10. For a nursery place that has exactly what you need I would send the extra money for the shipping. It wouldn’t be a problem you’re getting good quality stuff and I you support, nurseries farms and families it’s all about quality.thanks Billy

  11. The American plum makes really good plum jelly and plum butter, and they are native to America. Not so good for fresh eating however.

  12. For folks who live further North, in Massachusetts, there is a place called Tripple Brook, which is a nursery much like this one, with a HUGE variety of starts of edible and medicinal plants for food forests/permacutlturists
Their prices are very reasonable, and they love to do work trade
