  1. Very instructional video on pruning. You made it very easy to understand exactly where to prune. Thanks so much. Of course, Russell was right there; can't figure out if he really, really loves you or loves gardening or wants to be a YouTube star. I think it's a little bit of all these. 😂

  2. I have trouble with the arborvitae I planted almost two years ago. Pretty much only 2 out of the 10 are still green but haven't shown any growth whatsoever. I'm in GA so of course we're planting in red clay but I used biotone when first putting them in the ground so I'm not sure what else I need to do now for the last two to start seeing them grow and be healthy. Any advise you can give me would be appreciated. I see yours are doing so well and I wish for the same for mine. 😢

  3. Any chance you guys would put out a blooper video? I would love to see some of the less than ideal takes 😊 surely you have some

  4. I am really enjoying seeing these "old friends" from your garden. There are so many wonderful new "friends" but I found myself feeling nostalgic for this part of your garden.

  5. Just a reminder! Hellaboras can cause irritation to skin and toxic. . My skin is sensitive. I use gloves.

  6. Do you ever use the spent limelight hydrangeas in flower arrangements? They seem like a good addition to some.

  7. I've cut my Annabelle hydrangeas with the hedge trimmers before… just lopped off the top third. Also, cutting back hellebores is easy unless you have 100's !!😂😂😂

  8. What great timing. I was just looking at my hydrangeas yesterday thinking I needed to search your channel to see how to trim. I cleaned up my hellebores a few weeks ago but forgot to fertilize – thanks for the reminder! You're the best!

  9. The stain on the house . You may want to try mixing baking soda, vinegar and Dawn dishwashing liquid blue only. Combine to make a paste and apply to stain, you may have to leave it on for a bit and was off. I have had luck with combo for cleaning rust also.

  10. I love your stacked stone. What a terrific change. You and Aaron have artist perspectives and create such wonderful pieces.

  11. Nice pruning video, does look like garden is ready to do fresh growth

viewer request…a spring veg or dessert recipe ……. soon…maybe for Easter 🐰🐸🐣🐞

  12. It's a strange spring here in Massachusetts, too. My cleanup is way behind because it's been a very wet March, and the nights are still really cold, but at the same time, my spring bulbs are weeks ahead of normal because February was so mild.

  13. I've always wondered if the neighbors ever stop by or yell over the fence to ask you gardening question. 😀🤔

  14. I just noticed your subscriber total has made the jump to 1.7 million! Congratulations you guys. I just was at a garden center this am and talked with the worker who is also familiar with your channel…and she carries Espoma products (which was my lead-in to chat about seed starting and other things).

  15. Oh wow!! I'm in North Wales and I've been enjoying an incredible daffodil display while yours is barely started!!😮 I'll enjoy mine while it lasts (and hopefully a beautiful tulip displey), and when mine is all over, I can continue to your beautiful garden. ❤

  16. Hi Laura and Aaron. The garden is looking fabulous already. Question : when shall I cut back my Hellebore if they are ever green in my climate?
Also, what ever happened to the big white and rust coloured vintage gate / arch from years ago?
Do you still have it or did I miss something?

  17. Thank you so very much for sharing your knowledge with us all x 💚🌲🌱🙏😇🇦🇺🌼🕊️
