Here’s the bench I think we’re going to go with. https://bit.ly/3TxS4Gu
The Monarch 6ft. It’s actually the same bench we got for behind the greenhouse except that one was 5ft.

Your property so beautiful always look to see what you doing next you make my day especially living in the city.
I think build a small mound in center with waterfalls coming down the four sides into the the rest of the circle ⭕️……nothing more relaxing than hearing the water flowing 💦 then add whatever greenery in between the sides of the falls.
New York ♥️♥️♥️You so much
That bench template you guys have, I feel like those benches would look so beautiful around the big fountain right inside the curved brick walkway!
Your own personal Round about. 🤣
Attendance check for today as my husband says 😂😂😂😂.i got addicted watching u guys since last year😂😂.
A small ornamental tree behind the benches could provide a bit of shade when you sit down and take a rest! As hot as it gets out there during summer, being able to sit in the shade in the splendor of your garden, as well as taking a break during garden chores would be welcoming for sure.
I think the curve benches would work and be different not expected 😂❤❤
Love the idea of the 4 crapapples and 8 pyramidal boxwoods.
I know you’ve wanted a fountain there forever, but color me surprised Aaron didn’t suggest a specimen tree right in the center there.
There’s still time, Aaron. Centerpiece tree?
😂❤❤ That would be my vote, but I’m a tree fanatic like Aaron, sooo…. 🙋🏼♀️ biased!
Interesting instruction video……as you make your decisions….so refreshing to see things unfold Love to you both.
I love how you guys work together 👌❤ have you thought of getting Benny to create a cement circle fountain, say 1 foot tall? It can be like a wading pool for the kids, and wouldn't obstruct the garden shed..might even have different spray options?
One suggestion is to purchase a drone and photograph the area from above. The area is so flat to the earth. I would not spend any effort digging until I had an overhead design and landscape software that will show the design changes. I see in some videos so much waste of materials and time. Work smart, not hard. 🌻🐞😊
Also 4 small trees would be very quaint and cozy, and provide shade so you can actually enjoy sitting out there
Oh this would have been the best opportunity to pull out the drone!!!
Looking great Laura and Aaron thanks so much for sharing
So surprised you didn't get the drone up to get another perspective! 🙂 I think it will look really great when you are done adding the boxwood cones and benches.
You need Jerry and Jenny's edging machine
The Windermere circular bench would really be pretty out there with a big shade tree in the middle of it to sit under!
Love the circular design! You could also do 2 large chairs and a side table in the middle, for each corner.
So pull the bench into the circle and the back side of the circle will match the edge!
Keep the foundation simple. I agree the potting shed has a cottage feel. Straight benches would be lovely
You guys are like the cutest couple ever. Sometimes I'd like to see the measuring bloopers lolz.
From the viewers viewpoint…YOU NEED THE CURVED BENCHES
You should have used the drone to help you. I always find looking at something from overhead helps me when I’m debating about lines and shapes in the garden.
I like the idea of a rounded bench, you have straight benches every where else. Remember in nature nothing is matchy matchy or perfect!!
😂You two are so funny!!!!❤
Just an idea, you you consider placing the back of the curved benches in line with the lawn edge, the curve of the bench will fit, giving you more space to plant behing the benches , so with other words the benches will stand on the lawn
So exciting to plan like this! But aren't you concerned your vista of the Potting Shed will be blocked by a big fountain?
Oh, oh, cone boxwoods with Aaron's Christmas lights!!! hahaha. There will be a new power line required soon
How nice it is that you and Aaron are on the same page with your plans. My hubby has no interest yet won't let me do what I want. So frustrating.
A roundabout!!
I just love to see you and Aaron planning out your garden. I would be much more dependent on technology and accuracy. I'd use either a Transit or a Plane Table with Alidade. Even a high quality Compass, a Brunton and Steel Tape Measure. Too much time spent as a Field Archeologist. The truth is your way is just as useful and negates the need for specialized equipment. You don't really need the degree of accuracy I love. You and Aaron work well together and will surely create a beautiful space. Just love Aaron's Gator testing. Either bench type would do to me, just a little different feel. Crab Apple Trees, "What". Love you guys. 🌲🌳😍🤙
I vote curved benches! But of course it is always fun to see what Laura and Aaron pick!
Curved definitely….
The back of the bench is closer to the arc of the circle you painted! I think it would work better than a straight bench!
Come on let's be honest the majority of us gardeners use the eyeball measuring system. Also I'm on the curved bench side for all reasons mentioned so far.
Guys, I think a curved bench would be more cohesive with the circle.
Hi Laura and Aaron
Great project. Will be spectacular. Just wondering about those houses bordering your fence and arbivitae, they are so close together and haven't got any garden space. Why is that?
This was a fun video. Love this part of the creative process in my own gardens as well. Have a blast!
Aaron: Pray for us. 😂🤣😂🤣
And this is why if you want to match a landscaping angle go and commission the furniture surely some local carpenters or iron mongers could create something bespoke…by now they have enough income to do that. A standard bench simply won't work as well.
So fun hearing you guys making your decisions!! It will be awesome when completed!
Would some drone footage help confirm your lines and placement? Love your vision! Thanks for sharing your steps along the way!
I'm surprised Aaron didn't send the drone up to check the orange circle! haha. Your projects always turn out great, Laura 🥰
What about low water 😊❤pool in circle the kids could walk in.
Come on, do it faster, I want to see the results as soon as possible 😀 😀
It would look amazing
It will be perfect if you edge the grass with brick like the rest of the yard and paths. Especially if you edge the circle and the borders with bricks, it would be amazing.
🥰!
What about doing a large hydrangea like a limelight or Pinky Winky behind each bench instead of a small tree. Would be a beautiful backdrop and pretty winter interest. Love the space and excited to see it come to life.
The relationship you both have together is so real. My husband and I watch you both and think “they sound a lot like us” such a great match. 🌼🌼🌼
Do you have any recommendations for people going the “no-lawn” route? I’ve seen some people doing chamomile and creeping thyme lawns instead of a monoculture of grass to save water and be more biodiverse
