  1. Hi, loved all the videos Ive watched, just wondering which of the potting mixes you use most of the time, the first one or the second one, thanks, Matt.

  2. OMG I just found your channel. I am a total beginner and after having watched possibly hundreds of YouTube videos lol I must say that your videos are a godsend – no unnecessary talk and stories, just quick, easy, step by step videos. So helpful! I can't wait to start my veggie garden.

Off to binge watch more of your videos 🙂

  3. Hey, so I'm a little confused about thinning them out. Are you saying that when the plants get to 2 inches tall then I need to start plucking some out? Also is it okay if I re plant the ones I take out?

  4. Thanks for sharing! Can I use grow bag to plant carrots? and if yes how big should I get? 5 or 7 gallons?

  5. Those are some beautiful carrots! I simply cannot bring myself to thin seedlings because I hate choosing which ones live and which ones die. So, last year, I tried making seed tape for carrots. It worked really well! I picked up some great tips from your video. Did not know carrots did not like too much nitrogen. Might be why mine didn't seem to grow as well as yours. Thanks for all these wonderful videos. I am a new fan!

  6. Hi! I live in a warm climate. What variety of carrots would you recommend?
Also .. do you use fresh seeds or store bought ones?
    Thanks! 😃

  7. I live in the North East USA. Planted my seeds in a 10 gal grow bag 2 weeks ago, nothing happening. No green sprouts. The bag is outside on my balcony, nights are in the 40s, days in 50s-60s. I thought carrots could germinate in low temps? I bought the seeds fresh at big box store. Any idea why they're not germinating? Do they need full days of sun to germinate? Thank you!

  8. Thin 2-inch tall seedlings to 2 inches apart… so pull the ones that grew to 2 inches and leave the shorties?

  9. Those are beauties for sure. I grew some potatoes in plastic buckets and they tasted like the bucket, kind of weaned from plastic containers. I put a raised bed in my garden this year for carrots. You have to be patient with carrots, wolf.

  10. Not sure if I you have a video to answer to my questions in any of your videos, but I'm guessing you have a lot of used potting soil after each harvest. Are you using it again and just adding compost to recharge it or using fresh each time? Thanks- excellent videos.

  11. I like your style. Very nice video. Was wondering if it is necessary to use containers so deep since the carrots only grow to 6 inches or so.

  12. 👍💯👍💯👍💯 you are the best one in the YouTube .

  14. I have read that its a good idea to grow carrots with onions as companing plants. Would this method work with them?

  15. Really great. I tried carrots in a raised bed this season. Got the the little shoots – and over time they largely vanished. I had the bed netted / protected from slugs. I feel I may have let them get too dry and perhaps the soil was too dense. Next season im doing this!

  16. I love your step by step instructions. I’ve had many poorly growing vegetables, but I never fertilize. I purchased your exact variety of carrots from Amazon. In a pot, you can’t have a variety that gets too long. Can’t wait to try this in the spring.

  17. Hi, what is the difference between using potting soil or the ingredients listed below it? Thanks for the great video!

  18. 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽👏🏽👏🏽thank you, I’m so happy I found this video, my journey begins ❤️

  19. This year I am growing fruits anf veggies for the first time. Hope I don't fail miserably 😅 I subscribed 😀

  20. Can you give an example of “low nitrogen fertilizer”? I always end up with carrots with heavy leaves but very small body.. I understand that this could be due to high nitrogen content in soil.
