We are expecting severe weather today, and will be monitoring it closely. With this tempest weather station, it’s going to help us hone in on our specific location so we can be better prepared and take action quick. We’ve been very happy with the support we have received from Tempest and think this is a great addition to our farm. If you are looking for a weather station we highly recommend this all in one unit to better understand what’s happening on your property in real time.

  1. Ya'll need to catch a weather break. The rain parts before it gets to us. We're getting dry here again. It's just a dreary day with no measurable rain. Take care Jill.
    Remember ya'll to Pray,Plan, Prep

  2. I have the WeatherFlow station which is the one right before the Tempest came out. I've had it for about 5 years and have no complaints. I'm a big weather nerd! I've been studying weather and chasing some storms since 1974. I guess that makes me an old weather nerd. Ha! 🙂

  3. Thanks for sharing with all of those details. I’ve got so many weather apps on my phone now. Another app to check is weather underground because one of our neighbors has a station for them.

  4. This is why I love North Texas Vegetable Gardening and Cooking besides gardening and cooking, you bring us up to date with the latest technology like the Tempest Weather Station. If the Tempest has Jill's seal of approval it's good enough for me… I might get one for my son if he wants one, he loves monitoring the weather… LM

  5. I honestly despise Daylight Saving Time! One risk for me is working in the gardens too late, because it is light outside (not today), then being exhausted the next day! 🙄
It’s been raining here since about 9:30 this morning, with the thunderstorm part beginning at least 2 hours ago. Winds are less than yesterday so that’s good.

  6. I, I don't want to die !! Tornados go away now !! WE ARE ALL GOING TO DIE !!! ZULU……All 3 ranks assemble forward, affix bayonets !! regiment Sargeant bring troops forward south position … ZULU…..

  7. I am not a cell phone slave like a lot of people. I don't answer my phone unless I know who it is, and I went through messages earlier and I had some from November. Therefore I am not an app user. I looked to see if there was an app for temperature. I got it from Google Play and it's called Room Temperature. It tells me what the temperature is inside my house and outside. It's been accurate and I love it. I forget about it a lot, but when it's cold I really use it.

  8. Hey from the Texarkana area. Yup. HATE Daylight savings time with a PASSION. We have just received a Weather Alert for this evening from 8p to around Midnight. Hail and possible ‘Naders. Y’all be careful this evening

  9. Watching your weather right now. Nice station, we'll be checking one out too, since our issues are the same, Houston apps and living 20+ miles south and closer to the coast. 😊

  10. Got 4 qts of sauerkraut today!! Thats what I had for my birthday dinner!! I'd love to know how much sauerkraut I've canned in the past year. Thanks for your great videos!! God bless. Stay Safe!!! God bless!!!

  11. Jill, what are you growing in your green stalk? I've got lettuces and they just aren't doing great…maybe it's the weather IDK.. this is my first go at growing in it and I was so excited, now I'm disappointed. 😌

  12. Can you tell us what all you have planted in your tower of power as I have two of these towers on order. One I am thinking of planting my strawberries in and the 2nd one plant my herbs in them. We have the Sainlogic Weather station that has its own ipad sort that sit on out tv table to give us all of the information. We are only at 47.5 degrees at 12:26 p.m. right now and gusty winds. Bet you are colder. I am a day late but Happy St. Patrick's Day today.
