    Great to be getting back into the grown season again ,Evan are the seed onions you've plant in the centre of the bath going to be spring onions or will they grow into larger onions ?

    Thank you, Ivan for the container garden site.
    I have about a dozen onions growing from onion bottoms. It was an experiment that I have been doing as I cook with onions and saving the bottoms.

    Thanks Ivan, can I just ask, will you just leave those bunches of onion seedlings together and if so will they find their own space to grow without thinning them out?

    If you run out out of containers, try the 1000 ltrs big builders bags. I backfold them once, local dirt at the bottom and initially 15 cm of compost on top. I get these bags for free and all the compost I need is produced at home from kitchen scraps, garden waste and cardboard.
