We have some very cramped and sad looking seed starts that need some more space, so Ben is getting them potted up to the next size containers, as well as preparing a few beds for planting out our onion starts.

  1. Oh that Buggy… she just warms the heart so much! Watching her barefoot outside with Daddy is amazing! My favorite was when she was running from the shed back to the greenhouse and she was singing "back to the greenhouse…. back to the greenhouse…" So cute!

  2. Love the greenhouse filling with new green life. You need to check out a British gardener named muddyboots his transplant system is great. P.s. theres an app for plant identifying.

  3. It brings a smile to my face and joy to my heart watching your "busy" little girl. She is darling, and reminds be so much of some of our little grandaughters.

  4. I wash out used plastic cups and put them away for seed starts. I do the same with solo cups and when I get greens or fruits in a plastic container I save those too. They may only last through one growing cycle, but I am fine with that!

  5. Love you guys and your beautiful family. We wanna move there but, our 80+ years and certain great grandsons will, alas, vote that down. Blessings on you all. PS Let sister say bye at the end. It'l get you many subscribers. Really.

  6. Am unfamiliar with Osage orange trees but another plant that is good is the sea buckthorn. Huge thorns and consumable berries if you can live to gather. Lol

  7. You sound like my dad. When we were at camp he would cook steak down on the fire pit and be eating it the whole time. Bring it in to the camp and say it’s no good. But it always was.

  8. Wild wood flower grew wild on the farm Meg didn't know what it was Ben planted it any way 😊😊😊

  9. You seem to be obsessive about rototilling. It brings weed seeds to the surface and turns the soil to powder. It looks like When you put the spilled soil back on the raised beds that there were weeds in it.

  10. Is Megan making cheese yet? Funny y’all will hang a pig leg, but not make cheese. I think it will take your chops up a level! ❤

  11. I'm glad you're creating a natural privacy screen. Protect yourselves and your lifestyle. Buggie is so cute, growing so fast! Your boys are thriving as well!👍❤

  12. The wee one leaves you in the dust Ben. She's gonna keep you guys on your toes! Ben, we are in our 60's and just starting out. Two years into our farm. Talk about bad backs and knees. But I tell myself, I'm out there moving and stretching. You should see me doing slo-mo Tai- chi, collecting my free range eggs in the woods! Comical. Guys thanks so much for taking the time to film and edit for us. This is so much better than anything on TV.

  13. Wise move to get the trees in your dirty ASAP.. really love the way you are on your homestead… hats off to you all.. much love and respect

  14. They pork chops looked amazing Meg!!, il be adding that to my cooking list too, have a great day guys, love ❤️ n hugs from Shropshire England 🇬🇧 xxxx

  15. I have an app that identifies plants, my app says this is a Cherry Plum a species of Prunus.

  16. Japanese ornamental plum looks to be what that seedling is. They say it's just ornamental but I think they are delicious.
    Maybe that's what it is
On second thought I cant see that seed very well but im not sure its a plum seed. Elm seeds are distinctive but I cant tell if its that either. There is a variety of elm that is purple. It's called 'Frontier Elm". Would be special if you had one.

  17. Pork chops waiting to be made for supper! The guys are gonna love this! Thanks for the tip!

  18. We do a similar recipe with chicken. It is on the internet as Melt in your Mouth Chicken. It has Mayo and Parmesan cheese. It is amazing
