  1. Rob, that idle hands is a good one. So many bad things to do gardening is a good hobby that feeds your family. All your reasons are the same for me.👊🏾

  2. All good reasons to garden. It is especially nice to grow favored varieties and so nice to be able to walk out to the garden for fresh veggies instead of having to buy what’s available at the store 😊

  3. We definitely have to find a area for some of our plants that need shade. So true about knowing what goes into your food. Peppers are looking good. Right again about the stores selling what they can profit from. Moving on the land is one of the best decisions we've made the peace is unbeatable. Your garden will definitely keep you busy. Everything is looking good my friend. Thanks for sharing. Have a great day

  4. Looks like things are growing good! My garden was started late and most of it died off during the extreme heat here in the Southwest. We have had a lot of rain which helped jump start seeds and struggling plants.

  5. A place to look at, work on, rest your soul at and count our blessings and meditate and wait on God. Everyone needs one no matter how big or small your garden space is, as you said. Love the collaboration theme!

  6. It's looking good Rob. We had to much rain, lost a lot of plants! A Garden teaches me patience!

  7. Gardens are just beautiful! That stands out for me among your reasons. Rob, everything looks good and you've done a great job. I love the pots 👍

  8. I don’t know Rob….Simple! Well, ok, maybe in some ways, I go something more like humble, Simple isn’t the word that comes to mind as you talk about your reasons for gardening in front of your new coop, Deere, and Astro turf on the ground your walking on! Nor, when showing the complicated wiring or the off grid man cave greenhouse! Nope, simple isn’t the word! Giant Teddy Bear kinda rings true as well but again simple doesn’t do you justice!

It’s always great hearing about how many things that you’re family has growing. Both success and failure in the spring when starting seeds and during the season as you show the outcome of your efforts. The fact that your family has vested interests in the food coming out of the gardens makes it all the better. Someday your going to have to show SK2 how to plant chicken nuggets in the garden or he will never eat anything from the garden!

Great video as usual but with a nice heartfelt Dad/Dude/Man In The Garden feel!

  9. Yes many good reason why we love our garden and grow our own food. It’s good for both body and soul. It’s difficult to find organic grown vegetables in the supermarket where I live, so I have to grow them myself.
Thanks for the walk in your garde, Rob👍

  10. Looks great ..yeah no idle hands in a garden. It is all those thi ga for me as well. Ok they like it after it goes to seed. Ok (cilantro that is) enjoy my friend

  11. Thank you for the tour. You have so much in there. But then again, once you start it's hard to stop. Sometimes I look around my ever-expanding garden and feel overwhelmed until I realize it's God's garden, I'm just the caretaker He makes it grow. I've got an 8' sunflower which was a surprise… It just keeps growing taller! So cool. God bless you and your family.

  12. Your garden is doing awesome this year ! It is nice being out in the garden to get your mind away from everything for awhile . We didn't plant anything until June 1 so we are late getting stuff out of the garden this year . I hope you guys have a great weekend coming up !

  13. Very LOVELY share😊😊 nice to know why you're gardening, & I know so many can relate 😊😊 videos like these give me such JOY in my heart cause I know there are others out there who LOVE their garden/plants as much as I do😊😊

  14. Hi Rob, the garden is beautiful😍 Thank you for the microclimate tip! I like your reasons for gardening and I agree with all of them. Have a nice week🙂

  15. All great reasons to love the garden! I want to do this tag as well, hoping this week if it stops raining. Looking good as usual Rob. Have a great week!

  16. You did great with this Rob. Yes sir, many of us have the same reasons but it is good to hear them and know you have kindred spirits.
