Thanks
Why would the picts drive a car in the cave and set it on fire?? We’re the cold??
it will be 200 years before the water rises
"If there is a summer here" you'd think they were in the Arctic the way they go on, just look how verdant the place is!
These ‘montage episodes’ are brilliant, especially for when travelling! I look forward to seeing some of the earlier episodes being put together in the same way.
Habitation of caves is impractical and dangerous. They are dark, slippery when wet, with low ceilings which can easily crack a head open. The damp environment doesn't allow for food storage. Entering and exiting with little or no illumination poses a huge life risk every time one takes a leak outdoors. The air quality in caves can be terrible, but these appear to be pretty well ventilated. Fires or hearths make the air polluted and toxic, perhaps to the point of killing all occupants. Very temporary shelter is about their only potential. I wish archaeologists would stop with the immediate assumption of occupation because occupation is the exception to the rule rather than the rule itself.
‘Kevin’ the pict…..who would have thought it possible!
I think of all the episodes done in Scotland, the one on Mull was my favorite. Mick was so in his element with that one, like a kid in a candy shop. Sad it didn't make it in this Top 3.
Applecross I always thought was one of the Team's physically toughest sites, thin topsoil over stones everywhere, and often appalling weather. They really soldiered on for that one.
Thanks
Love TT but strongly dislike the nature of the ads that accompany each programme – FOUR and all for gambling at the outset of this one. It's not right.
It always tickles me when Tony say " We are going to have our work cut out for us" hhahahah
Had know idea what this was. Clicked on the thumbnail because I love guacamole.
If only everyone believed in boobs.🤔
Rising water levels? Where?
Receding waters? Rising waters? LOL. Alarmist comments don’t help
4:20. We don’t call them “diggers“ anymore. The correct name is now “digroes”.
1st ‘Scottish’ dig is actually Pictish.
21:34 they could also be steps ….
