Im inspired and will make one soon for my flower bed from some kind of stick from mulberry .
I love the waddle fence!!!! It is coming along nicely. Please film it, I enjoy watching your videos very much๐โผ๏ธโผ๏ธ
I LOVE it!!!! Rain coming down here in SoCal. I will take all the rain we can get. But I hope the snow on the mountains doesn't melt. Monday supposed to be 70 here. I hope so I can fertilize and plant some seeds. My paperwhites lasted a long time too this year.
I wish you could have kept some of the tree branches from your birch trees. That would have been great for the sails. Darn it!
Good day Janey, you are doing a wonderful job, remember Rome was not built in a day.
Since you are getting so much rain you might want to consider permeable paving for your side yard. There are various types that allow rainwater to flow through. Itโs an environmentally friendly alternative to concrete, at least in the northeast.
Where did you get the bamboo?
The fence is beautiful! Can't wait to see it finished! ๐ปM
OMG film it please, so interesting to see the process ๐
I do not have good luck with those tomato stakes! If they bend and the plastic coating cracks, the metal inside rusts and they break. You may have better luck with them if you are not moving them around.
Just a quick note, the waddle fence looks great even though you are not done. Love it. Also I live in Southwestern BC and that is where we call it Raincouver and it is a rain forest. I grow Daffs and tulips and all the wonderful bulbs and we don't experience flatness of the plants even in the rainiest time. There have been times were we get 11 days in a row with rain. Everything enjoys the rain and it helps with the grass and such to store all the stuff they need in the times when it is dry and hot. Anyways enjoy the rest of your day. Oh just one more thing we have construction people whom will pour and lay the concrete down even in the rain and everything does well.
The rain has reached us too in So Cal, enjoying watching your video and progress while being cozy inside. I wonder if you could create a 'cap' to put on the top of your stakes to disguise them? maybe painted pvc caps glued on ๐คทโโ๏ธ
I'm in love Janie it's so romantic !! Please show us your finished look ๐ฅฐ๐๐น
Maybe you can give us some highlights of the new wattle fence construction in another video (for those of us who are still interested ๐๐)!!! Thanks for your beautiful videos and cheerful disposition!!! โค๐
Don't worry about how many times you have filmed the waddle fence. I find it very interesting and sweet lady you are never boring. Love your personality and your enthusiasm for your beautiful garden.
That is looking so cute!! Love how itโs turning out!
Yours is looking so good. I was going to do it at one time, but couldn't find enough right sticks. Here in south someone suggested I use Crepe Myrtle stick for the weft (weavers).
Hey, I like the wattle fence project! It's different content that "oh let's watch someone put seeds in a seed tray". LOL Can't wait to see the finished project.
I love the wattle fence. I donโt see anything wrong with taking your time to get it done right, especially if you want it to last for years. I live in the Bay Area and weโve had atmospheric river storms for the last few months, so I feel your pain. The good news is that weโre almost out of the drought!
Oh itโs going to be beautiful Iโve never herd of that type of fence but very nice
I love the videos of the waddle fence! I would love more!
Im here for al the waddle fence vids! So interesting and we are all learning! ๐
Looks so interesting Janey. Are you able to step into the garden to plant in the area you can't reach from the sidewalk ? I had never seen a fence like that before until I saw yours and the one at the garden center you visited
Don't be so hard on yourself. From what I saw in this video, the fence is looking good! You just have to work around this whacky weather! Have a good day Janie. Praying you don't have a flash flood. Be safe.
I thought you were going to bundle them in bunches 1:10 You did them one by one 4:37..
It looks so nice, good job! it has inspired me to make one, yeah as soon as the rain stops here in Hollister, I just found you and subs'd looking forward to learning so much from you, thank you
nice๐ผ๐ผ๐๐ป
Iโm with you on the rain. In the same area and I am over it!
Funny that "Wayfair" was the advertisement for your session. I've been looking for wattle fencing and they are on sale on Wayfair. ๐
It is beautiful. Do you need to wrap each whip? That is going to take a bit more time to complete. But it looks so pretty. Good luck.
Hello from Jersey! U r the 1st video I watch while doing my makeup. Didnโt see urs this morning ๐ I was happy to see u were able to upload one today. Thank u!
What is the eyeshadow u use for ur inner corner? Itโs gorgeous
Super cute! Will you be putting a top rail in case anybody falls on it? Or maybe some cute wooden balls with holes drilled in them?
5โ of rain here in the east bay hills overnight! Poured all night long but a bit of sun now then rain again tomorrow afternoon.
I love your fence! I think it looks fantastic! I can so sympathize with your ambivalence about the rain. I live in Nebraska where the weather is SO unpredictable! We have recently suffered through drought conditions. We farm, so rain is greatly appreciated most of the time. But, sometimes it doesn't know how to stop. Both extremes bring their own problems. We aren't getting a ton of moisture right now, but it's much better than last year. Just so many gray, cold, windy days right now. But, spring will come to us, as it always does! I am planning to enjoy every hour of spring weather when it gets here!
You can run out and do a minute or two of the finished fence. We donโt wanna wait to see ๐
I think it looks amazing!! So the sticks where did you get them or what try did they come from??
Looking nice!
Cut a bouquet enjoy them inside ๐
Hi Janey , sorry for the dumb question but can I buy a wattle fence kit , or do i just gather branches , love watching your videos
I am in Natomas and Iโm with you on the rain!! I have like 10 plants waiting to go in but it keeps raining so I canโt get the bed cleaned out argh
You are doing an excellent job, it looks really pretty ๐
I see a lot of wattle fences here in Surrey UK I love them but I think you have to have a lot of patience which obviously you do I think it would take me years lol I really love the look of them though so pretty ๐คฉ

I love the look of the wattle fence!
I think the waddle fence is so interesting. I applaud you for sticking with it. You are doing a great job! Weโll done. ๐๐๐
That river rock path you have going into the kitchen garden takes up a lot of growing real estate, especially since the garden is so small. Have you considered taking that path out and continuing the wattle fence in a straight line?. The garden is small enough so I wouldn't worry too much about being able to reach things.
It looks so charming Janey!! You should be proud of your hard work and perseverance๐๐ผYour tulips and paper whites are so beautiful ๐They certainly can lift your spirits ๐ท
Great job Janey ๐ฅฐ I love it ๐๐ธ๐
Hi it really looking nice. I love the look. Hang in here. Itโll be worth it
I can already order a fence. I have met the master ๐ฅฐ๐ฅฐ๐ฅฐ๐ฅฐ
