Having basic garden supplies and seeds is essential for any prepper interested in growing their own plants and vegetables. A garden can provide a source of fresh, healthy produce and can be a great way to add long term food to your pantry. However, in order to create and maintain a successful garden, certain supplies are necessary.

Firstly, having the right tools is important for planting seeds and getting them to germinate. This includes items such as growing medium, heat mats, watering trays and a good quality seed. Without these tools, it can be difficult to properly plant and care for the young plants.

Secondly, having a variety of seeds is necessary to create a diverse and productive garden. This includes both vegetable and flower seeds, as well as seeds for herbs and other plants. Different types of plants require different growing conditions, so having a range of seeds can help ensure that there is always something growing in the garden.

In summary, having basic garden supplies and seeds is important for creating a successful and productive garden. With the right tools, soil, and seeds, anyone can enjoy the benefits of growing their own plants and vegetables.

  1. Looks like you're got it pretty well sorted and I would also say to buy the best tools that you can afford instead of lots of cheap crappy ones.
We're still using pruners etc that we've had for decades and they're still going strong.
I would also suggest starting out small and growing some of the stuff that's easier in your area rather than to trying to grow everything and being disappointed.
Where we are we literally have to cover everything to protect from the sun and various critters and being in a relatively dry area water gets expensive.
The flip side is that we have good soil and we can grow year round.
    Thanks for the video.
