Ha ha, "get out there and garden" . We still have a foot of snow and ice on the ground, even more on other parts of our property. Still hauling gallons and gallons of water to our poultry since November , their waterers are ice every morning. Love the winter season, but ready for a real spring. BTW~ snow predicted here for the next few days.

I got sick, daughter got sick also, turned to strep. Mine got better after taking some generic Zyrtec. Allergies are at a prime with everything budding and blooming. Your immunogabaglobulins (histamines) go into overdrive and then your system gets down and you get sick. A nice hot toddy helps, oregano oil in throat and thymol .

I hope you feel better! At least you got sick AFTER your kids and not the same time they were sick. As long as 1 person in the family can get up and walk around, the others will heal in no time. Hope cold season is done for you guys for awhile, it is never fun.
I'm glad to hear more people are buying silver and gold and starting to secure their wealth, I've been doing the same in small steps. It really does feel good to know that I actually have solid currency in my hands that won't devalue or be taken away if the government decides they doesn't like what I watch on YT or what I search for (which I am surprised I'm not already on a Watchlist). I think that's going to be the saving grace for most people when the economy finishes collapsing. I grew up in a time when you could buy MANY things for just $1 (and I'm only 40!!). Now, we can no longer buy ONE thing for $1, and that is alarming.
Try to invest in at least one silver piece a month, everyone. At least if you just ONE piece of silver, you will have some to barter with when the dollar completely crashes.

For decades,whenever I caught a cold or flu, I’ve juiced 3 carrots, 2 celery sticks, and an apple, twice a day until symptoms were gone. It has never failed to knock out a virus. All symptoms are usually gone within 2 days; once it took 3 days.
The other remedy is to clean your ears with peroxide at the onset on symptoms. The ear canal is warm, moist, and the wax is mostly dead cells. It’s the perfect growing medium. Rinse well with water after, or it’ll irritate your skin. Don’t do it if you have a hole in the ear drum; you’ll go deaf.
Glad you’re getting better, there’s nothing that puts the hamper on a homestead like sickness.

I once heard the late Dr. Zelenko say all viruses begin in the nose, and if you spray in your nasal passages with either a hydrogen peroxide solution or a Povidone iodone solution (just strong enough not to burn), you can pretty much always fight them off. It has worked for my family so far.
