Great video. Fantastic plants. Can hardly wait to get outside and plant. Thank you so very much for sharing this with us.🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
Love watching your video's.
When you say zone 7. I am in zone 7a and the loropetalum,s have died. On the others you mention as zone 7, could you give us any advice for 7a or 7 b….. based on your experience knowledge from others in your industry
Everything is gorgeous i love the lavender tree form! I would love to find one in my area which is eastern Pennsylvania Jenny and Jerry you keep a beautiful nursery!
I’m watching from Canada while big snowflakes fall outside my window! Thanks for reminding me spring is coming…eventually
Amsonia String Theory is a great substitute for a grass, because of its wispy texture — and has pretty blue flowers in the spring — great fall color, reasonable size, and is amazing in large drifts.
I love the tree form lavender plants. Thanks Jenny and Jerry for this video.
Beautiful selection Jenny 🍃🌺🍃
Jenny's in her feisty mood today. And I love it.
I have tried so many times to grow Solomon Seal. My problem is with squirrels 🐿️
They like to dig up my plants. Maybe there's something they like in the roots.
I'm going to try again, but this time place hardware cloth on the soil surface. Ha! Ha! Take that, you naughty critters.
From Alberta Canada. You guys are my sunshine !!🌻
The way you said caramel the first time is how we say it in the UK so we approve even if others in the US don't 🙂
Wow that lavender topiary is so cute. So many good choices for people who have the land to plant large shrubs. I have extended my planting area by using pots. Looking forward to whenever you and Jerry are able to start shipping .
Pronunciation police!🤪😅
I have worked with the public my entire life. Four years of which were in a greenhouse. When you were explaining your hours I literally made me laugh out loud. It's amazing how something so simple will still confuse some people.
Wish I lived closer. Your plants are so big. And Proven Winners. And great selections.
We planted up to 100 plants last year, I hope to buy a 100 more. I was told that since we planted last year I shouldn't prune anything and let it just grow for one season. We planted over 40 varties of hydreansas ( Prove winner and some other companies), buterfly bush (Pugster Blue n Pink and Missy Molly) many types of evergreens and more. what is your take on this?
Good afternoon, Jenny 👋The Ostrich Fern is on my list this year.
Good information. Hope it can retain it.
My autumn ferns are popping up with new growth already. I trimmed away all of the old growth. I don’t always do that but I just wanted a fresh look this year. Is now a good time to divide and move them around?
Love your videos, new plants we don't see much of here in semi tropical Australia,
but I love anyway.
Love the lavender topiary
It would be so helpful if you would give a list of each plant you show in your show notes. Many thanks.
I always thought I couldn’t grow grasses in my shaded garden!! Thanks so much for mentioning the Everillo!! I can even grow it in my zone 6!! This one goes to the top of my list!
Can you please review the types of clippers you carry. I know you did it last year but I cant find it. I seem to have a drawer of snips and cutters but they are never sharp and not the right ones for what I need
Hello, Jenny. Everything looks wonderful! Is your Solomon Seal something that you are able to ship. I have not been able to find it.
Jenny – can you possibly do a video on evergreen shrubs and trees best for our 7b shade here in the Carolinas? Need some winter interest for a complete shaded area year round!
I was laughing out loud when you said, where is it? It’s in there I promise… I do want to come see you, but if I’m gonna drive all the way from Buffalo to North Carolina, I’d also like to stop at some nurseries that sell hardy palms & tropicals. Do you know of any good ones?
Turned chilly, low 50’s with a vicious wind, here in Williamsburg. Had to take out two trees that were the resident squirrels access to our roof, where they caused lots of damage. Had the stumps ground today and am picking out two new ones, dwarf varieties, one a Japanese maple and one a dwarf crabapple. I was going to wait, but I do believe you are right about avoiding the heat of the summer and getting them in the ground ASAP to give them a few months to acclimate and get a good start. Hard to find a good selection as nurseries don’t yet have a big selection of trees here. And, this change in the weather is challenging too.
Ginny – you are so cute and being soooo protective of that tree lavender……like “Don’t nobody figure on taking away my plant!”!
