  1. I want to share with all of you and also Lydia this video. Is from a Mexican nutriologist who works with intuitive eating, please take the time to check out this video, is called MAS ALLA DEL ROSA, WITH RAQUEL LOBATON, your mind will explode!!! the diets industry is so so bad my god and so so billionaire, please take a time and watch is, as you can have subtitle, and in podcast is just spanish, bye!!!!

  2. Doesn't sourdough have a gut friendly bacteria in it, where as I believe too much commercial bread probably upsets your gut microbiome. I think you are funny Lydia, quite often you make laugh. Love the dogs 🐕 🐕 they are so funny! Your hair looks lovely by the way, and the green dress looks gorgeous on you! Yes talk about books more, I love it! x 😙

  3. It’s mainly women that shouldn’t skip breakfast. If we skip breakfast it completely throws our hormones off and raises our cortisol levels putting our body in fight or flight mode for the rest of the day. If you’re gonna skip a meal then skip dinner but never ever skip breakfast 💛 Fasting in general is terrible for women and wrecks our hormones, unlike men who benefit from it. Men are on a 24 hour circadian cycle, women are on a 28 day infradian cycle. So we have to do things very differently to support and nourish our bodies.

  4. I'm so happy I made productive decisions about my finances that changed my life forever. I'm a single mother living in Melbourne Australia, bought my second house in January and hoping to retire next year at 40 if things keep going smoothly for me.

  5. I have to say while we all love company living on my own means I can tidy up at my own speed and leave clothes on a chair if I am having a sort out and not have to cook if I don't want to and I have got so used to that now that I don't think I could live with someone again. I spend as much time as I want watching vlogs and can do what I want when I want and see who I want and the freedom of that is tremendous. Washing is minimal and no snoring to wake me at night so although the norm is to have a partner to live with who else feels like I do?

  6. I love the length of your hair. It suits you more than the longer version I think.

  7. Your hair looks so much better as it was quite full at ear level and now thinned out suits you. You are a joy to watch as you are honest about your feelings and we identify with what you say. The greenhouse looks so good now it is clean and your bio fuel fire is so cosy. The snowdrops are incredible and very English. I love the quilted green gilet and the gathered waist is so flattering. I love the apron you were baking in – a dress would be great in that floral pattern.

  8. I can not wait for your garden to start blooming, it's going to look gorgeous. Also, just wanted to say that as a plant-based and animal loving person I really appreciate you mentioning an animal welfare in your video. If people would eat only slightly less meat I maybe the planet would be a tiny bit healthier and happier place. Thank you!

  9. My scalp has been having issues, dry and itchy after two days- started using Briogeo micro-exfoliating shampoo. Game changer! I have thick, curly, long hair and it’s saving my scalp. I use their conditioner after and amazing. If you’re having scalp issues, I can’t recommend enough!

  10. 23:29– BINGO- study that sponsored by a food brand- i myself don't eat until I tidy my room and have done a few other things. I am not having cereal / bread this wk either- they have been replaced by mushroom tomato and liver for IRON that my body requires.

  11. Would love to try the banana oat bars, anyone managed to find the recipe please?

  12. I really recommend reading Genius Foods by Max Lugrave if you’re interested in food and how it impacts your body/ mind and on going health

  13. Oprah is amazing to listen to and I used to watch her programmes in the days before programmes were filtered to different channels on TV. Now I am interested in what she has to say about life and enjoy her ethos on life. Her emotional eating programmes were revolutionary years ago and mental wellbeing is her thing. I am so into nutrition, have been since age of 13/14 and my mother followed Gayelord Hauser, Swiss nutritionist and did her utmost to make us healthy meals and I have always shunned fast food and monosodium glutamate and yes to Oprah.

  14. White bread is the worst thing for you and my dad suffered from diverticulitis after changing to white bread as the bowel has problems digesting/processing white bread. Wholemeal is your best bet and even making your own so you know the ingredients. I mix wholegrain rice with white rice so that i have some nutrients in rice. I was reading about a connection with monosodium glutamate and gastric cancer and nutrition is a fascinating subject. Artherosclerosis is another subject and how to keep your arteries from being full of plaque. So much to consider and learn. Smoked meats etc are another subject and I am confused about sauerkraut as they say good for you but pickled foods are not???

  15. I don't like to eat in the morning either. I feel the same sluggish, can't function properly. I feel like I have so much more energy when I don't eat compared to when I do eat. Just ok with drinking water until I do want to eat

  16. I love the spring vibes! I live in northwest Florida and we have a definite change in seasons. Spring weather begins in late February and everything comes into bloom. So spring is now for us! ❤

  17. I prefer your hair the length you've just had cut….Its more classy! coming from a hairstylist myself x

  18. I have an irritated scalp as well. I use Neutrogena extra strength coal tar shampoo and then a hair mask (moroccan oil) and then condition (I alternate between moroccan oil's hydrate and repair conditioners). I only wash my hair once a week and only use dry shampoo on day 6. I hope this helps.

  19. Good to see more people being positive in committed last vt was so negative about don't do this And you can't do that I look forward to seeing all you been up to I just don't get way people have to put bad stuff way watch if it not for you

  20. Please do a healthy-recipes-list or a what-i-eat-in-a-week. I desperately need inspiriation on this!

  21. Are you seriously considering getting ANOTHER puppy in the same video as you get mad that your dogs get into your neighbors' gardens?

  22. Hello! Love your video as always! Haha especially the reading the dogs a bed time story of garden plans 🙂
I hesitantly just had to say as a friendly subscriber/vegan..it’s difficult to say “taking the animal welfare out of the equation” because someone that loves animals clearly as much as you do must not reeeally know what goes into making the food AND CLOTHES out of animal bodies ❤ there is no such thing as humanely killing animals for sustenance. Everything we eat is just a transport for nutrients and nutrients can be consumed in other ways. Yes it does take educating in the beginning as does any new thing but tis well worth it!
*a handful of vital nutrients people get from meat is only in the meat because the animals ate vegetables that had some dirt (B12) on them, it’s not because the animal meat itself is insanely nutritious..
(Typed by a person that said they could never give up cheese for the first 27 years of their life until they watched the documentaries on the subject and just learned to much…)

  23. Thank you for the sunflower! I needed that so much! I’m at my lowest now, fighting cancer, feeling old and ugly…bald and tired…but I am going to practice shining like a sunflower!❤️🤗

  24. I had a Sassy Holford wedding dress in 1998, a gold satin and silk structured bodice that I paired with a voluminous and separately purchased skirt. Still have it. 😊
