@11:56 that's how I felt about my dogs. I still love them, but its so much of a hassle now to clean up their fur off of everything, constantly sweep & mop the dirt they drag in (they're inside dogs), give them baths & brush them all the time, taking them out to potty (especially when the babies jist been put down for a nap), etc. Before we had kids we had plenty of time for those things!
I love these videos they are inspiring for sure and give me great ideas for my more modest garden endeavors. I'd love to see a bit more modest, budget-friendly smaller gardens – or maybe that's just me being jealous or these beauties! haha
~ I have a good idea for a video – can you compile all your DRONE FOOTAGE of your property from different years and make it a one video? its a lot for your video guy for sure but would make a great video ! you could have one with music , and another one discussing it .. ~ also may be its time to make another playlist – A PLAYLIST OF ALL YOUR GARDEN TOURS ! – since now is a good time to rewatch it in the last days of winter, thats what I'm doing lately 🙂 ~ and A PLAYLIST OF YOUR CONTAINER plantings because thats a HUGE INSPO for spring and now its a great time to see your past combinations, so people can draw ideas for this coming season, I know lots of new subs probably would watch each playlist right away 🙂
Nice! Suggestion for the video editor: More full pic gardens rather than split screen with Laura looking down reading the description. A circle inset (like used frequently for Aaron) works best. Still want to see the close up of the greenhouse garden in the first garden shown today…. but the full half split screen of Laura blocked most of it. I do appreciate the effort put into the editing and just want to encourage further development of the process. Thank you.
Oh my gosh at 10;00 the plant screen on the deck. Is that a huge Persian Shield plant right in the center. ??? I have never seen one that big. It’s huge!
This comment is for the person with the garden in Illinois zone 5B. I have been looking for a tree to turn into a lollipop as you have
You mind sharing what type of tree that is? My local garden center just keeps telling me I have to plant lilacs or Willow but I want something more formal like this. Thank you!
These are all stunning! I would like to know the budget for these landscapes…installation and then annual maintenance. I don't begrudge anyone anything and am happy that people are blessed and work hard in their gardens. I would just like to know if I am using my annual "garden budget" to its full potential or if I can do more. I do seed starting for annuals and divide my perennials and I know it takes several seasons, but garden products, plants and water costs keep rising. Would love a "Beauty on a Budget" video.
These just NEVER get old. Love seeing everyone's creativity and hard work! Didn't know what I was doing in my flower beds the 1st 17 years, it was just therapeutic. Last 3 years I have a plan! My 5 year plan has turned into 20 years in a blink, but isn't that the joy of gardening??
I absolutely love these videos – thank you so much for continuing them. They are just an absolute treat. I have to pull them up on the big screen so I don’t miss a single detail 😊 The editing was excellent- so fun to see both Aaron and Laura at the same time. ❤️❤️❤️
This episode should definitely be entitled Nostalgic Gardens! Having listened to your background, you certainly do gravitate toward a rural English, weathered wood vibe.
Backyard builds is a Canadian reality tv show on hulu. It isn't always centered on gardening, but there are lots of great little things to glean inspiration off of.
Love this series; so many inspiring ideas. Maybe you can do some other topic of "fan favorites" like apparel, marking methods, tools, etc. We learn so much from you Laura, but I'll never learn about the best boots or hats available!
I can't tell you how much I appreciate it when you dedicate a whole video to a topic. I've learned so much from a shade loving video or ground cover one as I'm still trying to plant out our yard. Honestly there's not a dud video in any of them.
The "Megabed" is such a lovely way to make use of space. This is a prime example to show to folks who say they only have a patio so they can't garden. Wow! 😍
Okay, I am 5 minutes in and Ken is killing it with these edits! This is so entertaining. Most of us have been watching for years, and all of these editing choices are making us feel closer to Laura and Aaron in a way. This is a super upbeat feel good feeling to it. And that’s Laura in general, But these video edits make this whole video seem so conversational. And even knowing some of Kens humor too, this is great. It definitely has a Garden Answer Family vibe to it! Keep up the good work you guys 😊

Thank you!
Question about watching ads- do you get some kind of payment if I watch part of an ad or only if I watch the whole thing?
Thank you for continuing this series. Love Aaron’s input as well. He loves his trees! 😂
Lovely!
yup, pavillion
Love this! I also love that you put it on the Highlights channel on Saturday.
I could watch these videos every day!
Thank you ❤❤❤

Still loving these garden visits! So many ideas and I really appreciate your saying the names of things I want to copy or get info on.
Here in my area, that pergola thing is called a “pole barn”

The cabbages do look great! Ken's editing made it all the more entertaining.
You can’t see snakes on the dark mulch

Carolyn in New Hampshire, how did you protect the hostas from voles? I am overrun this year!

I would love to see more tiny yards for those of us with little 50×100 yards
Love this series so much!!
