  1. How did your lavender do?? Mine did not survive. Im disappointed. But excited for your plants! In TN there is red clay and shallow ground have fun! (:

  2. I love the potatoes bag. Im going to try that. 1 in each bag.. daffodils are so pretty. Perfect for Easter.tulips are one of my favorite!

  3. Yes 🙌🏽. I’m so happy that your sharing what your doing. Since it rains a lot on the east side of the island I have did a DIY clear umbrella so they won’t get dumped on with rain. Plus clear umbrellas or a covered garden is ice to have with clear roofing on them. I’m so thrilled to see what your growing. It feels so good to plant something and see it grow. I can see you doing videos on your garden in the future. I’m addicted to my kale, tomatoes for my salsa and salads, lemon grass, peppermint, spearmint, green onion, parsley, ginger, and turmeric.
Your potatoes are doing awesome. Those grow bags are perfect. It would interested to see how many potatoes your gonna get. Experimenting is the key. Making my own compost is nice to have. It’s a tumbler for my vegetable and fruit clippings along with chopped cardboard and dried leaves from my neighbors yard. Self timing watering is an excellent idea. This is so exciting. Thank you for sharing.

  4. I love seeing what you are doing. I am looking forward to seeing you transition your garden to your new home. There is something invigorating about growing plants and seeing new life.
I also get antsy about getting started. I have raised beds in zone 8b, southeast Texas, and I have over 100 tomato plants going. I will be giving most away, but I just can't help but to grow so much.

  5. WoW – Lisa everything 👀 looks great. You have a green thumb. Please update us once you transplant them at your new home in TN. I’m in Texas and last year I did cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, and grapes. Had some really nice results. No flowers because my daughter is deathly allergic to bees. Just started 2 Roma tomatoes. Nothing else yet.
    Very happy for your success.🙌🏻

  6. I’m loving this. So many garden YouTube videos are a bit smug. It’s nice to hear from someone who just loves gardening and wants to share their enthusiasm with us. 😀

  7. We’re just digging out from a blizzard so this was super fun to see the warm sunshine and your baby plants. I’m super excited for you’re new home and garden! 🌺🌻🏠

  8. I'm enjoying this because last month I bought some plant containers and have some seeds too. I know nothing about gardening but ready to start.

  9. I admire you starting everything from seed! I’m too impatient to do that.

  10. I know you are growing flowers, but I grew cucamelons in a container from seed about 8 years ago and they were really good. I may try that again and if I do, I had better get started!

  11. How exciting! I'm so happy that you're making your dream come true. I'm sure they'll be beautiful.
Thank you for keeping us company !

  12. This was great! I enjoyed watching you be so enthused about your plants! Do make more videos to update us on what you're doing and to show us what worked and what didn't. It will be fun to see your plants make the move to TN and settle into their new home as you settle into yours.

I'm so happy you've found a new interest that brings you so much pleasure. And I enjoy that you're not afraid to try things and are ready to keep trying if something doesn't work out.

Right now, the extent of my "gardening" is on my kitchen counter with my Aerogardens! 😂 I do a combination of cherry tomatoes, lettuces (mostly romaine), and herbs. When the herbs get too large, I transplant them into pots. This year, I may try putting them into the ground to see how they do. I also plant flowers in the second one (on a bookcase in my family room to add color) and that's fun, too. Now you've got me thinking I should try potatoes outside in either a big pot or grow bag. You're so inspiring!

  13. If you love daffodils you’ll just love Nashville even more in the spring..they are everywhere…so beautiful!!!!
