There’s something special about cooking recipes in your kitchen with produce you grew in your own garden. Culinary garden designer Sara Gasbarra’s love for gardening started with her father, who always prioritized fresh, homegrown produce in their home. Since then, she always made sure she had a space for a garden in every apartment and house she lived in.
Sara found a community on Instagram to share her love for growing vegetables with, and soon enough, restaurant owners were flooding her inbox with requests to design gardens for their spaces. As a full-time culinary garden designer, she creates specialized gardens for chefs and restaurants all over the country, giving them a space to grow vegetables specific to their cuisine. Tour Sara’s unique garden with us as we learn more about her journey to achieve her dream career.

What an awesome career, doing what you love, and being in nature!!
Strange to grow hard woody plants with like lavender and rosemary with low water needs with soft green plants like chives and leafy greens with much higher water needs.
What a cool career. Going from an urban environment to getting to design bigger landscapes. Love the idea of the garden being an extension of your home too..
I've gotten a lot fascinated and comforted by the beauty of the garden in this video. That's really awesome. Thanks for sharing.😀👍👍
