High Winter Awakes | Popcorn, Frost & Family Fires (New York, USA) E10



Do you have winter where you live? Have you ever grown strawberry heirloom popcorn? As high winter awakes join Gwen for frosty mornings and cozy fires. She grows popcorn and plans a party for her Father and Mother.

IN THE GARDEN
Strawberry Popcorn Seeds sourced from Bakers Creek

IN THE KITCHEN
Strawberry Crush

3 cup crushed strawberries
3 crushed bananas
1 1/2 cup sugar
3/4 cup lime juice
ginger ale
Mix all ingredients in a large bowl. Let sit 10 minutes and then stir until all sugar is dissolved.
Freeze, stirring occasionally till solid. To serve fill glasses half full of crush and top with ginger ale.

It looks so pretty with the snow everywhere and It was so nice to see your parents helping you with the popcorn and especially seeing your dad all tucked up in a rug and sharing some popcorn with your dog..
