  1. Thanks Ben and crew, for taking the time to come and visit my property I had a great time showing you guys around! I have since removed that dead olive tree (shown in the video) and replaced it with an orange. It should be more productive lol… Cheers πŸ™‚ πŸ‘

  2. Mark has to be my favourite person on the internet! I could walk his garden for years ! Thanks for sharing

  3. hmm it was commented that it's good to rest the beds and not have stuff growing for a while… that's not true at all- it's best to keep roots in the ground to feed the microbes, otherwise the soil life dies back especially if you've pulled the plants out roots and all. Just top dress with a bit of compost and cut your plants at the base if your bed is not in use or is just receiving some young transplants, that way you keep deep organic matter of the roots in for the microbes, don't disturb them as would happen if tilling, and add more nutrients from the compost dressing

  4. Do your rats eat your sweet potatoes? I had a couple of large bins of sweet potatoes and the rats went in and ate them from under the ground. What do you do about it?

  5. By hyping up and exaggerating youtube cheerleaders do way more harm than good.

  6. 32:51 … that little kid… "Daddy, Daddy… I found some already… I am the biggest!" … … from 33:09 on … That`s what adult are looking for to feed the familly… you little poor proud too early boy!

  7. That pepper tree by the coffee tree is not Tasmannia lanceolata. Wrong leaf shape and colour + wrong stem colour

  8. Wow imagine living in the tropics! I would love to grow tropical fruit they are the best of all the fruits! That would be so cool! I’ve grown melons here in the uk using heated ground. I will try them this year too! But in the greenhouse! But could you imagine having a banana tree? Or half the fruit 🍌 yum! I’d be so happy! Lol but I do love my peach tree😊

  9. Absolutely love Self-Sufficient Me! I have watched his channel for years and I really enjoyed this walk about on Mike's property, thank you. I had never seen your channel before but now I will be looking for your videos as well.

  10. Wow, look at how fake his "pump" is, trying to look energetic, 2 much bouncing and arms flayling. Looks like an idiot.

  11. Mark doesn't live on the sunshine coast either by the way, he is closer to North Brisbane.

  12. I have a Valencia orange grove in Mexico and if you irrigation the trees the oranges will not need to be picked for up to 3 more months. The locals distinguish orange cultivars by temprana y TardΓa which is early or late oranges. Navel and Bulls blood are some local early verities that have great taste but ripen very fast and must be picked.

  13. Thanks for this video I've been following his channel for many years and I've always wanted to see a tour of his whole garden….

  14. You are so lucky!! I would give anything to visit Self-sufficient Me garden. I just love his Channel and have learned so much form him even though I am in Central Mississippi, totally different climate. I have 3 Pineapple plants that are huge now in my High Tunnel because of him.
